@@SkiSeeker I've skied both Trysil & Are, I would say Are is much better for varied intermediate to advanced skiing, from one end to the other is around 10k as it follows the lake in the valley. Trysil is more relaxed and fabulous for beginners and intermediates, Are has a lively Apre, being my wife and I are in our late 50's Trysil's relaxed easy skiing is just our cup of tea. cheers Mark

We enjoyed our visit, have you ever been to Åre or Sälen? We are considering a trip to one of them for our next Alpine Ski trip.
