Hey Chris. I have probably watched every one of your videos. Today is the first time I have ever used the thanks button, ever. Thank you so much for your videos. You are the Alton Brown of guitar videos(in case you don't know him, it's a compliment:))

I started clipping the fret tangs off inside of a zip-lock sandwich bag and it catches the tang pretty well so you don't have to worry about it flying off somewhere.

Brilliant. I will probably go this route myself. After a clipping session, it sure beats running a vacuum over the entire floor.

@@HighlineGuitars Good deal, I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. That neck is looking fantastic by the way!

The more the angle of the fret, the flatter and more elliptical its shape/radius will be. The first fret might actually be closer to 16 than 10 on the angle of the caul (need to do the math)

Not only does the math show this to be true, my radius gauges show it as well.

I understand that fret height makes a difference in how the guitar feels when played, but what about fret width? Assuming the crowns are the same, can you feel any difference between skinny and wide frets? Or is it just that skinnier frets perhaps wear out faster? Great videos!

What do you think about the stainless steel ball end frets that many manufacturers have been using? Can they be purchased? Thanks Chris.

You can purchase stainless steel fret wire, but you have to form the ball/hemispherical/hotdog ends yourself with a dressing file.
