Yeah as a fellow Kaiser main I honestly expected Kaiser to be next after AB. Eunwol made sense because it's the most bug filled class in Maple, devs probably gave up and just want to recode him from ground up. But Aran? Really? They're fine and just needed hitbox buffs. Plus choosing Aran over BaM or Mech is crazy, BaM has one of the worst dpm and their farming is barely better than king of E tier, DK.
FINALLY THEY MAKE HEROES GREAT AGAIN 😭😭😭 Heroes each of them have different, interesting play style but not too difficult. I'm really glad that NX remaster Aran and Shade. Hope Evan, Lumi and Phantom next, Merc idk bcs she is too good now.
My biggest problem with shade is that He has nothing linking him to being the previous Pirate hero. Everything is his skills are We have spirts now which is cool. But the thing about heros is the previous power that stopped the black mage coming back. Second biggest thing about Shade I disliked is that he has the anima race blessing (none of the anima class make good use of this too and i hate it) which is summon duration and has no summons to take advantage of it. This is just poor design imo. I see that we seemingly can now place spirit frenzy but i doubt that they are gonna have the foresight to make it interact with summon duration nor will it have enough summon uptime to make an interaction with 5% summon duration meaningful (which is a problem with both lara duration wise and ho young both duration wise amount of summons wise. one of his summons (idk if a summon has to be considered a separate being because that seems stupid none of mechs summons are beings and corsairs summons are no longer beings. maybe the requirement is it needs to have a face which is why the ho young tornado doesnt work. and corsairs boats used to have faces) I dont like the Bomb punch look (i dont like current bomb punch look either but i like this one less) or smashing multippunch look (i like the current smashing multipunch look) this new one looks goofy maybe its the colors making it hard to see the detail. Looking at the skills slowly is pretty good but looking at them as they are being used fast how you play the game looks like a blur of color. some how shade has a personal door on a long 30 min cooldown that cant be reduced or reset. but the new class has a door for the enitre party on a 5 minute cooldown. makes sense. and dark knight can do it every 40 seconds. the 6th job skill and all of the spirit fox ball animations look really pretty and they dont blur like all of his attacking moves.

the splits slashes are unique enough to see but the skill itself that comes out to slash flashes so fast.
I guess none of these are gameplay problems. only gameplay problem is that the spin and long ways drag moves are still only ground cast.
