The second I saw this movie when I was little I wanted a golden retriever just like Shadow...but he's so dopey and loveable he ended up being more of a Chance...I still love him though :) My brother got me these DVDs for Christmas! Still favourite movies, best present ever
I enjoyed how Chance berates insults and tells Shadow and everyone else off deservingly for what they did and caused by trying to keep him and Delilah apart before he stormed off. And you wonder why Riley and his gang can’t find him after her left. Clearly he doesn’t want to be found by the likes of them. He never actually forgave any of them for what they did. They didn’t deserve his forgiveness anyway. And they had failed when they are both together. Most likely in a potential third movie, they would have a long way to earn his forgiveness, for he would still hold a grudge on them.

I love this show ever since my parents bought for me when I was a little child. It really brings a smile to my face to see how intimate pets are with their owners.
I love this video! we have had our puppy a little over 6 months now & we just found out Chance is his great-grandfather.... he looks so much like him:)
"Sassy, did you get up on the wrong side of the litter box"? Very clever. I recommend this movie & its sequel as therapy for the stress of every day living.
Wow thats amazing. I love those movies. I wish I knew what happend to them. I had them on VHS I'm thinking about getting them again on DVD. Thanks for posting this. God bless
aww i remember always watching this movie like everyday and my family would always get sick of hearing the music, and how my dad wuld always watch it with me.. aww i miss my dad a lot and this movie =] good memories....
Remember that flashback, where the little puppy was abandoned by that little brat and his folks on christmas? =( I could never get through that as a kid.
by recent apparence, according IMDB: 1) The Prime Gig (2000) .... Tolstoy 2) Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco (1996) .... Peter Seaver 3) The Puppet Masters (1994) .... Jeff ... aka Robert A. Heinlein's The Puppet Masters (USA: complete title) 4) Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993) .... Peter Burnford
ever since i saw this movie i wanted an American bulldog (chance) when i was little an an american bulldog followed my mother home from work(i named im chance right away) i already had 2 dogs in my house so my parents wouldnt let me keep him..still miss him to this day
"Yeah, just checkin' out this hole. Wouldn't want you to fall into it or anything. Yeah, this is definately a hole." Nice editing! "Yeah, she can stay." "YESSSS!" (OMG, he jumps about four feet in the air there.)
ahh I love the movie this is and old movie but I watch it on 2015 and I know that it's in the 90s but it's 2017 I still love it I hope they will have. aremake
@Wrestlefan1 I think they used a different dog for Chance. In the first movie Chance had a little black spot on the top of his head, but this dog doesn't have one. I know they used a different dog for Shadow too.
Rattler was the name of the dog who played Chance in the first Homeward Bound movie. I have noticed that the dog who plays Chance in this movie has brown spots. Rattler was white with only black spots.
I don't think any of the pets in the original movie were used in this movie. They all look too different to be the same ones. As a child I thought it must have been a sign that time had passed between the first two films, but that isn't the case here.
i got it from limewire but i saw someone have it on youtube that inspired me to try again to find the song..coz last time i wanted this song i recorded the song from the vhs
I don't believe so...you can tell Chance is a different dog because of the big brown patch on his neck. Plus, they typically use several animals to play one character, especially the main ones. :)
I love this movie. Where did you got the music? I must have it. Bruce Broughton was a great componist. I'm 13 and i seems this movie is the best i've watched ever! Where you got the music??? I'm crazy after it!!!

Hi Betty, If you saw white fur on a golden retriever, is because is old : nearer 5 years or more. A dog life is between 15-20 years old. So maybe he
I love theses movies there so great and funny too.
Chances' voice over is done by Michael J Fox...
I just bought the DVD double feature of Homeward Bound 1 and 2 today
@Wrestlefan1 I think they used a different dog for Chance. In the first movie Chance had a little black spot on the top of his head, but this dog doesn't have one. I know they used a different dog for Shadow too.

At least the other animals look like the first ones, but chance is so obvious. Couldn't they like...cover his spots or something?
Yeah I mean Delila and the gang wander what type of trouble they can get into with Delila if they made a 3rd edition to the series.
I love this movie. Where did you got the music? I must have it. Bruce Broughton was a great componist.
I'm 13 and i seems this movie is the best i've watched ever! Where you got the music??? I'm crazy after it!!!
