i am from punjab and agriculture is onley source of income in my family , i study in various agriculture institutes (95percen marks in BSE agriculture) but when i came to vilage and start farming in village then i realise farming is very tough and unpredictable source of income in india , now i quit farming after 5 year of practice and start working in private company with 24000 per month..... My brothers ground reality is very different than books

Netherlands is smaller than punjab but it's agriculture export is second only to usa and majority of its export is meat i.e beef etc to China saudi arabia . If india lifts beef ban and encourage goat, swine, duck integrated farm i.e along with crops than india could be the biggest agricultural exporter in the world because india has the largest agrarian land as well as 12 months suitable for farming unlik Europe where there is snow in winter as well as they don't have plane land like india.

We has almost 20 acres of Land ..and you know what Water, Climate , Money , Labour, Diesel rates ( For irrigation to run Tractors etc ) even luck , all these things really really matters.
