I think more bands should re-record old songs. It really connects with longtime fans in a new way. This is something special.

@@ninerknight5351 I think they just toured together. If I remember correctly, Dave took Bright Eyes and Death Cab out on tour as the opening acts when PTL was the bigger band.

I've been to music shows, and concerts at venues big and small my whole life. I have NEVER been as captivated or enjoyed any show as much as I did the Monsters of Folk show in San Diego. Decided 2 nights before to take a road trip from Texas. Magical.
It was a good show there at Spreckles.
When lights went out and one lil kid w a huge guitar sat center stage n proceeded to explode I discovered M. Ward.

is this the show at Spreckles when MoF moniker didn't exist? It was basically a B.E. show with Jim and Matt opening and they all played a few songs together at the end. Only other musician was Mike? I think it was the same tour from the Austin City Limit's show.
