These vans in the U.S. had overheating problems, Nissan recalled all of them and bought them back from the owners although some people decided to keep them anyway.
In Mexico, the Nissan Vanette was known as "Ichi Van", and this vehicle was the rival of the Volkswagen Transporter T2 Water Cooled engine around 1990's
my father had a car like this in the 90s. the engine has been changed, the key has also been changed to a remote control device. many people offered to buy this van, but my father refused to sell it. until he died, my sister had to sell it because can't take care of it.
This one was from Spain for sure. The faded M on the diamond-shaped sticker stands for Madrid, and the weight ratio badge (5:00) was the typical from every spanish van back then. Great video, i love those vans.
It is true that many Nissan Vanettes were sold in Spain, and in fact you can still see some of them on the road from time to time. This van was really very robust and made for work.
Buses like this convey farm produce to market which can be 500 miles away or more... And they have to do this every day...now a to and fro journey will be 1000miles or more... Thats why they look this bad
Simple and reliable with cheap maintenance and repair. The problem,if you are in a town with steep roads and slippery asphalt,is that rear wheels are spinning in rain.
@@passy7787 The bribe is one of the normal things in Russia. The bribeless Russia is like a sunless sky, unfortunately. The bribe solves many problems in Russia. I passed the driving exam from the 11th time. And I had to pay the bribe to pass. I couldn't pass before I payed. But the inspectors told me that I drive very well. Since the 1st of April 2024 you have three times to pass the driving exam. If you don't, you have to wait for 6-9 mounths for the next time. I had to pay the bribe not to wait for years.
Люди ездят и не парятся , там тарахтит , тут шумит , капец как все запущенно . А тут малейший сверчок лезишь устраняет , на мойку , гоняешь , капец переживаешь ,что бы не где не царапки не вмятинки .
