I hope you are all having a wonderful winter season. The shop decorations are lovely. I have a big Nordic pine tree I decorate every year for Yule. I’ve named him, “Itchy Brother” 😆 as he’s a bit scratchy when you get near him. New Years Blessings too all!🤗

Happy Yule! As you know here in Australia we have Litha (Summer Solstice) tomorrow. We are in the middle of a heatwave (temps above 40 degrees Celsius) where I live, so there will be no fire rituals for me. We have a total fire ban. 😊 I thought I would get up and watch the sun rise and then do some divination in the evening. Unfortunately my sunrise is at 5.08am tomorrow. 😫 There’ll be no sleep in for me. 🌞

Green is definitely not my colour for Yule, and more broadly December, but white 🤘 Ayesha, chocolate decorations are traditional in my country, every single shop is selling the "tree chocolate candies" and we hang them in the tree along the normal decorations 😍 people eat the chocolates but leave the wrapping hanging in the tree to trick the others 😁

I love this suggestion. I sometimes look for inspiration in preparation and do join online but often that's just after the event. Me and my partner collect vintage Christmas decorations. We love Xmas trees so have one in the living room, dining room, a small one in the hall and a small one outside the front door. We dont go overboard with decorations, we keep it simple. Although we are not Christian we do enjoy carol concerts. We attended a Choral Evening at a beautiful monastery near us. It was beautiful. Of course I decorate mh altars. I have a beautiful Yule candle with incense. We usually watch classic Christmas films and old Christmas tv programnes on here. Blessed Yule to you all. ❤❤😊 I watched the Winter Solstice at Stonehenge on YT. I found it really moving. I was quite tearful.

Takes me back to my Grannies living room at Christmas. I am still very moved by hearing voices singing together in church such a beautiful sound 🥰 I love watching the sunrise at stonehenge online too, would love to do it in person one day, but very happy to go to Castlerigg near Keswick in the Lake District. When we went a few years ago we went to a carol service in a small medieval church. As we drew nearer to it the way was lit by lanterns which looked beautiful in the snow. The church had the most beautiful decorations all made from evergreens. The choir sung beautifully. It was truly magical and something I will never forget. Yule Blessings to you and yours.❤❤😊
