Hi Louise! I’ve just found your channel too (referred by my sewing friend). I too travel all over the world and go to fabric shops. In addition, I travel to meet the RUclips sewists that I watch. So fun. I just booked a ticket for next March to attend the Stitch Festival with several Sewing Buddies in London. I live in Oregon. Enjoyed seeing Denmark again through your eyes!
Oh wow! That sounds amazing! Unfortunately I won’t be at Stitch Festival this time as I’ll be away on a VERY exciting trip. Hope you have the best time. (Also, thank your friend for recommending my channel 🥰)
Oh that last shop…. We don’t have anything like that where I live. we don’t even have any dress fabric shops anymore. Only quilting shops. It looks like Copenhagen has the place to go!
Hi, I have just found you and subscribed. The buttons are gorgeous. I love the popper buttons. Now to try and watch all your playlist. Oh and I love the leather tan roll its my favorite Thank you xx
Aww welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I keep getting those poppers out, looking at them then putting them away again hehe. Enjoy the videos and be sure to comment on any you like
Great to see a new video 😊 Self made is my local shop on Vesterbrogade, although now I’m retired I spend a lot of time back home in Devon - after 35 years in Denmark. I worked close to the little mermaid for years 😊
😂😂I can tell you that a lot of us danes, thinks the lil mermaid is very to underwhelming, down right boring and alot of us don't understand the hype about her. Now if you ever get to Denmark again theres a few other fabric stores that will blow your mind. The one i Selfmade ,but the one located in Roskilde is soooo much better, then the one you visited and the other one is called Stofmøllen and its located in Faaborg. The latter one is kinda messy ( not dirty) but they have oodles of fabric and some yarn too. As for yarnstores, Hobbiis store in Odense is worth a visit. Fabric and yarn is expencive in Denmark but our earnings are somewhat different too, then most other places.
Ah, self-made. They really seem to have everything in reasonable quality. I‘m happy to have one of their shops within a 30 minute bike ride in Germany.
Love the buttons and love your enthusiasm for what you do. You're a star!

Thaaaaaaanks 😁
Hi Louise, where can I find the list of shops you have visited? I knit and sew. Yarn and fabric are the souvenirs I buy.
Hello Louise i am an American Living in Denmark right now and it is the most southern of Denmark
I have found lots of cheaper materiales in germany which are only under a hour away.
That’s a great idea!
Thanks Louise. Twice I’ve been booked to go to Denmark on a cruise and twice cancelled.
Oh no Jo. How annoying. I hope you make it one day
