This song reminds me of my loving mother who passed in covid .... and remember all the nights she cried while facing all life's challenges bringing up 6 kids .... and i cry cause i never got the chance to make her proud of me ... never got a chance to pay her back for all her sacrifices she made ..... love you mum, always and forever
Maybe it sounds corny but the like that I gave your comment was for the way you spoke about your Mom. How completely unfair and cruel time for the both of you. I can only imagine what her last days were like. And for yourself having to see your wonderful Mother suffering. I know you wanted to hear her say she's proud of you, but one can't help thinking that in her final thoughts, you were very much held in hi regard. Thank the Lord for you and all those who love their moms as much as you
Man this is like a time machine to me. Back when I was a teenager, every Friday night a few of my friends hang out at our small town church. We bring sleeping bags, snacks, game boards. We just chill outside the church under the night sky full of stars while were on our sleeping bags. We hangout and talk about everything until we fall asleep while this song was playing on the radio. What would I give to bring those moments back :(
Good memories..I'd do something similar with my neighbor friend she and I would sleep in her tent on the summer nights it was to hot ...I'd go back to relive those times...if I had a tent I'd sleep outside been a hot summer here in Michigan like it was when I was a younger girl...
+aboctok You maybe young, but you may want to check Karen carpenter on drums. She is excellent. As usual overlooked by the Rock and Roll of Fame. She was the only one that could play drums and sing...

Hearing this song again. Brings back memories of my childhood. Riding shotgun in my dad's truck, on our way to the lake for some weekend fishing. This was one of many great songs I heard playing on the radio back then. Songs of pure musical gold, unlike the garbage on the radio now.
My momma loved this song in 1992 when I was only 7. I remember her playing this back to back. She left us 14 years ago, and I just remembered this song on a whim. I love you mom, and I miss you more than life.
I'm 17 and i still remember my father when he's driving or when he's in the house, he always play different kinds of 80's/90's like Madonna,Chicago, toto,OMD,and so on it's so many that it's hard to memorize all of his favorites, Well i just love it you know? It fills a big part of my heart and now he can't even play all of his favorite songs anymore He got caught all up in this saying "when the father dies everyone in the family dies"(basically my grandfather passed away) i just hope that he will play all of his songs again
I'm 19 yrs old and I like these kind of music from 80s and 90s. As an early 2000s kid, I also grew up with this kind of songs because I always hear this in the radio when I was a little kid.

Not a big country fan, but 90s country was awesome, reminds me of 80s soft rock. This is a really beautiful song. I can remember it on the radio as a kid in 1994 all the time
A lot of 90s country did have some of the same production values as 80s rock, which is pretty interesting. I guess they were a few years behind, lol. I'm not complaining though!
I used to break down and cry on this song back in early 2000's. We just lost our boy to leukemia. My wife would wake up and cry on the living room past midnight back then.
I hope you and your wife are doing okay. May your son’s soul Rest In Peace and may God provide comfort and healing to your hearts. Many prayers for your family.
I'm old enough to remember when this song was new and on the radio. This is the soundtrack to my generation. These were the type of songs we slow danced to at the roller skating rink, and high school dances. Great memories. Thank you.
I can relate, so sad to lose our moms. I lost my mom 27 yrs ago. Crying at night s seems to be private but my hubby always knows. Tonight we buried our good old dog a black lab of 12 yrs. She was such a good dog, I cried so hard, thought I was ok with it. But no, I cried till my tummy hurt and swollen eyes. My hubby said he appreciates that women have those strong emotions for people and dogs...men cant express that. Be said, I'm glad men are tough, because women need men to hold them when they can't be be strong... Even for good old dogs. RIP ol Ellie Belly.
@@teresasugden466 so sorry to hear about your mom, it could be one year or like you said 27 years and it will always hurt just not as much as time passes. The pet is always a tough one too as they become a member of your family. This October will be 5 years for my mom and April '23, ten years for my dad. We can relate how much we love them especially after they are gone. Stay strong and remember they live in your hearts forever and I believe you'll see them again. Thanks for your story and beautiful words.
Lucky you. I never hear that song on radio stations or any stores (not even HEB or Walmart). Awesome and Eagle as radio stations fail to put any of the Restless Heart songs. I use the internet to make up for those.
My son love this song when he was still a baby. This song calms him down. Listening to it now 16 years later brings me back in time when I was a happy mom and a happy wife
My wife used to listen to this music before we separate ways, I was stupid I know. I took her efoort for granted, I tried to fix the relationship, we are now happy but not together, our relationship still grow for 8 years now as friends❤️
This song is so magical. Just listen to that soft, soulful cry of the guitar. I haven't heard songs with heart like this since sometime in the 90s. What happened?
Omg.... I'm 41 years old now, last time I heard this song I was literally 13. I used to love this song so much....hearing it now after so many long hard years...I only love it more....
I wouldn’t have thought the lead singer was also the drummer. That’s almost the exact opposite of what we’ve been conditioned to think. He’s really good.
To me this was the greatest POP SONG of my genration. Ironically this masterpiece was CREATED and PERFORMED by these badass COUTRY SINGERS (How cool is that 😉). This song brought back a ton of precious memories from my youth, and having watched this MTV again just right now made me cry ❤
I LITERALLY FEEL LIKE CRYING BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THIS SONG I AM JUST SO HAPPY I FOUND IT 😭❤ I ONLY HEAR IT ON THE RADIO AND THIS USED TO BE MY FATHER'S JAM 😭❤
How I wish in the future I'd meet a man like this, a man who would see the pain right through my eyes. No need to say it, he'd sense it right away. Coz frankly speaking, that's very rare. Ang hirap pag nasasaktan ka pero di nya nakikita, either he's just too insensitive or he's not paying attention to your feelings.
At the Taste of Colorado they brought me up on stage and introduced their new song. This one. Amazing memories. I was 13 and the only one dancing to their music. I love you guys!!!
I remember this song in December of 1992 when I was in junior high and first heard this song the day before our Christmas break when mom was driving me to school and I had this girl on my mind who I bought an Xmas gift for and this song was stuck in my head through the whole day even during our Xmas party in school. This was a great country song with memories that I will take to my grave.
I think Filipinos really have a deep love of 80s music coz we still love to listen to, even sing the 80s songs in our videoke session.
true
This was in released in 1992 in the US and became popular in 1993 in the Philippines - but I agree with the "deep love of Music" Part :)

Hello
cute niyo po hehe
It is very rare to see a drummer sing. Awesome
+Gregory Ray Don Henley, Levon Helm, and Phil Collins spring instantly to mind.
You forgot Karen Carpenter that played drums and sang in the 70s. Of course she is a woman!
+aboctok You maybe young, but you may want to check Karen carpenter on drums. She is excellent. As usual overlooked by the Rock and Roll of Fame. She was the only one that could play drums and sing...
He looks like Yanni.
+aboctok John took over vocals on this song cuz the original lead singer Larry Stewart left before the recording

The road I have traveled on
Is paved with good intentions
And littered with broken dreams
That never quite came true
When all of my hopes were dyin'
Her love kept me tryin'
She does her best to hide
The pain that she's been through
When she cries at night
And she doesn't think that I can hear (her)
She tries to hide
All the fear she feels inside
So I pray this time
I can be the man that she deserves
'Cause I die a little each time
When she cries
She's always been there for me
Whenever I've fallen
When nobody else believes
She'll be there by my side
I don't know how she takes it
Just once I'd like to make it
Then there'll be tears of joy
That fill her lovin' eyes
When she cries at night
And she doesn't think that I can hear (her)
She tries to hide
All the fear she feels inside
So I pray this time
I can be the man that she deserves
'Cause I die a little each time
When she cries

Would play this song for my Mom at the nursing home when I visited. She had dimentia but loved listening to this beautiful song. Made her smile✔️♥️❗
@@michaelfiguly1654 thank you
27 yrs for my mom, 9 yrs. for my dad. We are blessed to have great parents and pets.
@@teresasugden466 ♥️♥️♥️ yes we are thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I love this band. Music I listened to as I raised my kids. Touches the heart
2024 hi im from philippines i love this song for how many year bring back more sad/happy memories ❤️🇵🇭
Heard this on the radio and on a cafe. I fell in love with it!
I actually first took interest in this song hearing it in a restaurant....as I was leaving, unfortunately.
Hi im also in love with you
Aye MR. Bloggero said his in love with you
That is hands-down the most glorious mullet in soft-rock history.
Kentucky Waterfalls...
Very much a national treasure mullet
Excelente canción de este grupo estadounidense.
My wife used to listen to this music before we separate ways, I was stupid I know.
I took her efoort for granted, I tried to fix the relationship, we are now happy but not together, our relationship still grow for 8 years now as friends❤️
So sorry for you. Maybe you are just star-crossed lovers
@@jherdamjoelbrazil826 😍
And now the song you dedicated for her is
"Dont Love You No More" by Craig David
This song is so magical. Just listen to that soft, soulful cry of the guitar. I haven't heard songs with heart like this since sometime in the 90s. What happened?
Omg.... I'm 41 years old now, last time I heard this song I was literally 13. I used to love this song so much....hearing it now after so many long hard years...I only love it more....

And pop songs
Bihira na ang true love, madalang na ang til death do us part
Wapen.
I almost there
I wouldn’t have thought the lead singer was also the drummer. That’s almost the exact opposite of what we’ve been conditioned to think. He’s really good.
this was the first album with the new lead singer
Don Henley did most of the lead vocals for the Eagles and played drum's
I was born in 1993 but Im so damn In love of this song .❤️😌
I"m from the Philippines and I still love 80's and 90's song, they're really nice

Still one of my favorite songs to sing. 2024 anyone?
Awesome song! Have loved it for years.
Thank god my dad has great taste in music and letting me grow to these kinda ones👌✨
Old song is the best ❤️
totally agree! 👍
Simply beautiful, no matter how many times you hear it.
Agree
Exactly. Think I'm going to set a record with this one.
When I listen this song I remember my childhood memories🩷
High five to those who still love listening to this song...

I guess we all have memories like that. I know I do.
@@lefemmelolita4522 I don't.
