Kemp stated in her interview that her dad was about image an that once he died she understood him more because she started dealing with things her dad did as a writer that made sense to her now that she is older. She compares herself to Tariq and all of season 1 of power 2 Tariq started to understand why his dad did things he did. This is why Power Book 2 is called Ghost.
