    The first time I ever seen these boxes I said these would be perfect for my floss so I use them too.

    I am SO thrilled that your channel showed up in my feed today! I’m returning to cross stitch and have the ‘bobbibated’ DMC that I inherited from my mom (I’ve been ironing them as I use them…the creases drive me crazy🤪). Recently I acquired over 500 skeins of DMC and about 100 fancy flosses at a garage sale! The thrill of the find was diminished by the how in the heck am I going to store them thoughts?!’ I just so happen to have four of the photo boxes on hand from a project, I’m going to use your method, starting tomorrow! I’m excited to binge watch your other videos!

    Thanks for sharing your floss storage system. I’m a bobbinator from way back, that system works for me as well as using the floss boxes. Floss on floss drops seem messy to me. I’ve bought a few of the overdyed flosses because I wanted to try the variegation, but I’m not investing in a lot. It’s helpful to see how others store their stitching supplies. Thanks!

    Floss to store, that is a problem for all stitchers I think lol! I like your ideas and the storage cases. One thing I did, one day I sat and took inventory of all my floss. I had an old notebook and I made a page with each number series in DMC. I wrote all the numbers and how many skeins I had for each. I just look at my book to see if I have a number that I need. And I mark off the skein that is finished. When I buy new skeins I write it in my book beside the number corresponding. My skeins are stored in bags with the rings like you have and by number of the series.

      I didn't include that information, but i use an app called threadStash... you can track projects and check thread out to projects, make a shopping list, etc.

      @@lorabrinkman ok 😄
      Just another question. It's better to storage DMC threads by number or by color ?

    • @lorabrinkman
      @lorabrinkman  6 месяцев назад +1

      That's a personal preference. Do what works best for you.
