Forge got really lucky they were playing a baaaad team. 2 goal was bad, horrible giveaway, and guy never should've got such a clean shot away. Really, Valour should've got one of their 2nd or 3rd chances. Then again, Forge did miss a penalty. Overall, this is really, really, really bad for Valour. Who is going to show up to any of the home season games of such a bad team? Winnipeg might lose their team in the next couple of years.
Contract dispute. From what I understand, he had one year left on his deal and asked to leave. Ownership said yes, but management (who for some reason have final say) said no, which has caused some sort of issue behind the scenes. As far as I know, he's still contracted to the club, but isn't registered in their roster.
@@muziwang3161that’s an ugly stadium , it’s incredible that it was built in 2014 and that’s the design they came up with lol, basically two big stands facing each other with no stands behind the nets , that stadium is way too open, it fits 23000 , google some proper looking 23000 stadiums built in places like Europe to see what kind of nice stadium with that capacity have been built , this stadium looks like a glorified high school stadium and should not be used for a soccer team that gets 3 to 5000 a game it’s too big on top of being ugly .
Credit to Valour they played really well in this game. probably deserved at least a point, Kalongo made some great saves.
That goal by Valour was a beaut. Great to see the CPL season back in full swing! Here is ti another great year for Canadian soccer
Borges is so back

Forge v Valour who the hell came up with these names. If teams used the names of their towns and cities the league would take off more
What happened to Tristan Henry?

There should of have been a better crowd in Hamilton since they are the defending champions! 🤷♂️⚽️🇨🇦
Problem when you play in a bigger stadium is it looks empty, Halifax and Victoria have the right balance.
Great analysis! 🧐 Great to see a coast to coast league in Canada! ⚽️🇨🇦
@@IanPayne-z5l Hamilton can hold a game with level A international match. But Vic and Halifax cannot

It was built for an American football team though, long before Forge came along.
