I agree! Kairosoft is very nostalgic for me too, I have found that Kairosoft's games have only gotten better with time aswell! So if you ever pick up a new release you will be surprsied by how fun they are and still struggle to put them down from how addicting they are

The thing that I feel let down by is stupid. I have ALWAYS loved Kairosoft games. I seen that they were on steam and I thought oh my god I can enjoy them even more. I love the graphics regardless so none of that would be a negative for me. However they didn't do any work to adapt it for play on the PC, so they feel clunky, cluttered and rushed for the sake of money. They also didn't put any care or attention into the achievements for steam. I mean for got sake they only have 6 achievements for every single game that are basically the same, I don't understand this stupid decision when the games themselves have in game achievements fully related to the games themselves. It would have been nice to see them put in that smallest bit of effort. I mean it's saddening when you really love the games and feel like they haven't tried or lived up to what they can truly do, it just feels like they don't care if you know what I mean? :(
I agree with what you're saying, I have personally run into issues and glitches with the PC ports that weren't in the original. Nothing game breaking, mainly just text spacing issues and occasional glitches so I know what you're saying. I think part of why it happened was when the ports first started coming over Kairosoft weren't in the best place as they were focusing on Free 2 Play models which weren't amazing and got lots of backlash. However I have seen that with some of the titles I have played such as the Steam Game Dev Story port it has received more than one bug fix update. Also their most recent titles have been some of their best games yet, hopefully their ports will improve quality with more achievements as they are getting more familiar with porting games, but I agree there isn't really an excuse for them being not optimised for PC / New consoles
Beastie bay is a great title! Kairosoft have teased a new upcoming mining RPG-like game that they are working on, I'll cover it on my channel and I bet it will appear on the best of 2023 Kairosoft games 😀
Harbour story is a good idea! I image it would be similar to Jumbo Airport Story fleet management but with boats, cruisers and other unique ships (maybe cool Easter egg ones like Black Pearl, Flying Duchman). Could definitley see that being one!
@@WowItsBow I can see that we can also have an eater egg from High Sea Saga. Maybe there are visitors to our harbor with the Ship from High Sea saga and the crew on it (I was thinking the crew in it is the character that is exclusive in High Sea Saga games such as Fiend, Golem, and Trader).
