I was having major faffing and worrying about starting as I didnt want to over dose myself but I now feel reassured that I would probably have under dosed. Really appreciated the visual prompt using a coloured cream , very good reference point. Thank you
Hello I have never had hair growth however I do get some irritation to my skin . Has anyone else had this issue. I don’t plan to stop taking as it was the last piece of the jigsaw that made me feel normal.
@@mxarien9502I’m guessing she means a syringe where there’s no needle - I’ve used something like that to measure medication for a dog to be taken orally. Not a bad idea!
@@mxarien9502 I believe she or they were referring to using a syringe without a needle to dose it out topically. You can see the mm markings and there therefore get a better daily dosing then eyeballing it.
TY so much for this informative video but I also think that a 5 mg TESTOGEL sachet should indeed be spread over 10-15 days depending on how good of an absorber you are. We should all rather be overly careful when starting. Get bloodwork and then re-adjust... it is such a disgrace that there is no provider that produces sachets for women!!!♀️♀️♀️
After three or so months of use (1 sachet over 8 days) my bloods have come back at 3.8 (more than double the 1.8 level recommended in my area) my nurse practitioner is great and I now need to spread one sachet over 16 days… do you know if there is any research happening about what l ‘normal’ range levels for women? It seems to vary from lab to lab. I have no side effects except good ones! I think I’m just a good absorber. It is so frustrating and pretty impossible to dose over such a long time… thanks
It was helpful, but ladies, prepare to make a mess !!! the gel is runny like water unless you put it in the fridge before opening ! So, very difficult to manipulate. The small container is a good idea, a or a seringe with a plug. But you'll spill a lot anyway... Don't do it unless you're prepared, and in no hurry... My first experience today...
I'm struggling with hair loss every time I try testosterone. Is this product somehow better for those of us who experience hair loss? Are there any suggestions for this side effect? I nearly have zero testosterone in my body according to blood work. Thank you for all your help in so many ways for women!
I've had the same issue we need much smaller doses if we experience hairloss...also if there is genetic at play you need to thread lightly...If your father or mother experienced hairloss androgenic alopecia you could also & testosterone can trigger it by increasing your DHT which attacks the hair follicles..
I use a hair fibre powder thickner for my thin bits, and have a real hair wig, very realistic looking, not expensive these days, mine was £70 and looks like what my hair used to look like when I was pre meno. I don’t wear it every day, but I could if I wanted to, it doesn’t look ‘wiggy’ at all
@@Loulou-gw8kmHi, I don’t know if you’re in UK, as I am, but in certain areas there are lots of hair, wig, and cosmetic shops. I was told to go to Paks Hair and Cosmetics in Peckham. I also found another shop close to Paks, called Shaba Hair and Cosmetics. Both sell a huge amount of real hair wefts and caps and all accessories for wig making, and also lots of wigs, real hair and synthetic. I was told to make sure I get ‘ 100% Remy Hair’ wig. You can google this and read further, and I think there are video on here talking about it and many videos on how to make your own wig and sewing wefts etc. I have bought two Remy wigs from Shaba Hair, and I’m happy with both of them. I’m also going to follow instructions on how to make one, and see how I get on.
Why does it say in the box it comes in to apply it on the shoulders for men. But off lable it's used on the thigh, buttock, etc. For women. Are you sure this is safe. Or should women out it on the shoulder too? Usher labs 1% gel 5gram 50mg (Pea sized/M.M. sized amount)
How long does this gel take to be considered as absorbed? I put it on in the morning but I go to the gym a few hours later and shower afterwards...presumably the gel will have been absorbed by then and no need to reapply?
Very interesting....so I have to insist with it? I have asked twice and at 2 different surgeries, they have said no they don't do it... feel as women we are not being listened to... thank you for your advice
@@jammyjay917 GPs need to be comfortable with what they prescribe, so many won't prescribe it because they don't have the knowledge/training/are not comfortable with it. The knowledge/training is available. Testosterone is not expensive on a private prescription, so you may need to go that route with appropriate medical advice.
In fairness, it is designed for men and we are using it off-licence. But something with a screwtop (like Testim that has been discontinued) would be far easier.
Great video thanks -but good lord, can someone not tell big pharma that women exist & need this medication licensed & dosed appropriately...
Super helpful. Thank you

Really appreciate the visual for the appropriate amount. Really helpful video, thank you.
Thank you! This was so helpful. You’ve confirmed that I’ve been under dosing.
pour the sachet into a syringe and dose it in that way. this method of dosing would be most certain.
You can’t inject a gel are you crazy

You just use the syringe as a measurement aid not to inject it@mxarien9502

I read that progesterone blocks the conversion of testosterone into DHT. However you would need to research this further.

Whenever I have asked drs for it, they say they cant as its not licensed...i think they want us women here to suffer....not really fair 🙄🙄
It isn't licensed for women in the UK, but GPs can prescribe it off-licence (as they do for many medicines) if they choose to.

Does it need to be cycled during the month if I am perimenopausal and have normal cycles?
Hello everyone,
Has anyone ever tried to put it in a syringe and know the capacity of the sachet in milliliters?
Yes this is what I do. I get them on Amazon.
Can I use it at night instead of the mornings?
Yes, you can. As long as you keep the time consistent from day to day.
I've got to spread mine over 12 days - 8 was bad enough. I'm almost certain this sachet was designed by a man 🙄😂

You could find compounded cream but it might cost more.
Sorry to hear this, what symptoms were you getting when using it over 8 days? thank you.
