Welcome back Eric, I thought for a minute you got tire of us. but it was only for a minute .lol.. man it is your special way of teaching that help me alot., Thank God for that gift you have., patience and that recap does it for me. thanks a million..
Woowww you're killing it; You bring the listener in the middle on an African forest, the savana is on the horizon. The best place to celebrate two years of a percussion life! I'd love to listen it on a djembé! I feel es pura gozadera! Saludos y agradecido. Your help is huge!
2 years of lessons.I only can say thanks.here are a lot of work.for me this Channel is a treasure,(tesoro,no sé si lo escribí bien)the patterns are amazing.I only have 2 or 3 for learn.the resources are great tools.for me the best Channel for learn congas.is great that beginners, intermediated and advanced congueros haves things to learn here.Congratulations Eric.
These conga skins are just perfect. I love AfroBeat. I tried a variation changing the ghost note for a second open tone on the quinto, giving the open note on beats 2½ and 4½. Thanks, very nice rhythm.
I really enjoy your channel. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge. Gr8 video quality! Entertaining persona and you have more hair than a Barber's shop floor. 🙏
Hello Eric. You are incredible. I love your music. I love the way you play every rythmic sample of tumbao or any other stile. I don't miss any of your videos. Thank you so much.
This type of Tutorials will help All of Us expand Our Skills from Just being a Tumbao Player to Understanding an Odd Rhythm and Play Accordingly!! Thank U Eric "El Rítmico" Perez!!
When Covid hit,I was lucky enough to find you! Spent the better part of the winter inside trying to learn Anga's Mozambique...it was difficult, but I kind of got there thanks to you. You are a wonderful teacher!
Eric !! Happy two years anniversary and many more , la verdad es que!! You make everything much better easier to learn, thanks bro . Saludos y muchas vendiciones
Eric, great Afro-beat rhythm. Nice additional variation to the repertoire. Your expertise and innovation always seem to stimulate our hunger for more knowledge. Just out of curiosity, would you also be respectfully familiar with other similar rhythms, such as, the following: Abacua for two and three congas, Bembe, Rumba Obatala, Rumba Abierta, and perhaps a Brazilian "Bossa Nova and some Samba Grooves"? Keep the videos coming they're great! Thanks for your hard work and efforts. We really appreciate it.
That beat was brill I just love it ‘ Eric you are the man . just want to say I’ve got 4 congas stripe multicoloured Giovanni . I must admit it’s hard to play 4 , what I do what beat should I use cheers Eric London
Eric, I love all of your videos and learn so much... Although I must say that this is not afrobeat this if actually a fusion of afrobeats and Zouk/Soukus which are respectively popular Nigerian pop/hip-hop and Camaroonean popular music. Afrobeat is the genre developed by Fela Kuti and Tony Allen which is very different, check out their work along with TP Orchestre Poly-rhythmo, Ebo Taylor etc... Seun and Femi Kuti... Much Love brother.
Dig your content and approach. That synthy track’s melody you were playing to kind of sounded like “One Day” by Matisyahu, especially with the melody/patten you were adding.
Nice! There's not a lot of conga tutorials for afrobeat out there! Please consider the Flamenco Buleria. There's tons on cajon for it, but not a lot of instruction for congas. It's a mother*🤬 to learn. 12 beat rhythm that starts on the 12?!
Awesome! Yeah, the Bulerias are so intense and beautiful. Traditionally the only percussion was the Palmas. Then, cats began playing congas, and udus to accompany the soloists, as the music began to fuze. Now that cajon has taken over, there is not a lot of instruction on flamenco for congas out there.
love that beat Eric, but hard to play it without the third congas.... hey you been getting little lunch money I send you, sometimes under Ralph 00777, , for those large fries. :) ;
I'd change the open on the third conga, for an open on the quinto in front of you, then you need a good muffled tone on the quinto to replace the current open tone there. That's a bit like playing Songo on two congas (one of the Songo rhythms anyway).
I play in a church platform and my mics pick up everything from the platform speaker that is on the side. What can I do to block without putting a plexi around me?
HAPPY 2 YEARS OF TUTORIAL THURSDAYS!!!! Have these videos helped you???

Habla menos y toca más. Me gusta mucho tu método de trabsferencia del conocimiento pero el tiempo es implacable.
Un abrazo .
