Warsaw Tower is only 230 meters high, the rest is the antenna. With Antenna is the Commerzbank Tower also 300 Meters high. Without 259, so it’s higher than the Warsaw Tower.

Beautiful video with fantastic drone footage but unfortunately I have to correct some mistakes.
    Strandhotel Travemünde is 119m high.
Exzenterhaus in Bochum is 89m high
Intershop Tower in Jena is 144,5m high (159m with antenna)
Sail City Atlantic in Bremerhaven is 86m/147m high
Lister Tor in Hannover is 91m high. The tallest is Stadtwerke Hochhaus with 92m
    Norddeutsche Landesbank is 89m high
Victoria Turm in Mannheim is 97m high
RWE Tower in Dortmund is 91m high (100m with antenna)
ARAG - Hochhaus in Düsseldorf is 125m high
BMW Hochhaus in Munich is 101m high
Köln Turm is only 148m high (165m with antenna)
Colonia-Haus is only 147m high (155m with antenna)
The picture of Park Inn in Berlin is wrong. It is Treptower with 125m.
Park Inn has the same height too.
Commerzbank Tower is 259m (300m with antenna)
Obere Bürger in Bremerhaven is called Columbus Center.
    Sorry for the late reply.

I find the height on skyscraperpage.com/diagrams/? if you want to check.
Nevertheless I have to apologize for Treptower picture. Hard to distinguish with park inn when you don't know well the city. Thanks for the correction.

Until No 14, I would not use the Word skyline. Watch here on youtube the top 20 skylines of China, then you know what a skyline is. And yes, I am German.

    • @EuropaSkyline
      @EuropaSkyline  4 года назад +6

Yes I understand this fact, but I think there is no better terms, they are just tiny skylines. It is not comparable with China. Some people could say there is only Frankfurt and like there is no a true definition they could be right

Germany had to decide after WW2 how to rebuild the country and weither we want to build Skyscrapers or not, so every city had to vote for it, if I remember correctly. In the end most of Germany voted against skyscrapers and wanted to rebuilt in the old style (yeah, in the end that didn't worked quite well), but Frankfurt already started to build some skyscrapers so there was no stopping for them. That's why Frankfurt continued it's skyline like it is today.
(This comment might not be 100% correct, as this is just how I remember it)
