    When you see the R34 in the reflection of a Focus RS, and a Nurburgring sticker on the back, you know you've found someone with good taste indeed.

    I bought the detailing kit from their website months ago and I am quite pleased with the products. I do agree that it was a pain using the polish with a microfiber application pad etc. I think that polish is more suited for a polishing machine instead by doing it by hand.

    As a newbie to your channel I must say Im impressed with all that I have watched so far. Excellent camera work, editing etc all very time consuming in itself, not to mention the detail you go to when working on your customers cars. I doff my cap to you Sir. I would also let you wash my van, and I don't say that lightly, I can tell your damn good at your job and I like it. Brilliant!!! :-)

    Nice car. Good video. One thing i do though, is after washing and drying car, i open up all doors and dry the door jams and inside bottom of doors etc...
    Sometimes i may even take the car for a spin round the block to get the water from all its hiding places such as handles mirrors. i understand you cant do that on customers cars however. but yeah, great work. nice attention to detail.👍

    Friendly tip: when spraying the window cleaner, avoid directly spraying onto the glass seeing as the overspray can get on the paint and ruin the finish you've worked hard to achieve. Instead, spray directly onto the towel first then proceed to wipe down the window. This guarantees no overspray contaminating the paint. :)

    I've ordered from RDC a couple times. Only used the Xipp waterless wash/wax since I'm at college with no access to running water. I think it works very well and have been very impressed by it. I've also tried the interior cleaner, and while I haven't seen how well it can clean, it does well to protect my already clean-ish interior. I might have to try out some more of their products after seeing your video. Good work as always.

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  8 лет назад

      +Karl Fontana I'd get it done as soon as possible and then a regular maintenance wash will keep it topped up. The beading is probably just occurring simply because the paintwork is new but doesn't necessarily mean it's protected.

      Wet-sanding and polishing the car to remove the rough factory paint finish. Modern car paints often leave a rippled finish like the skin of an orange. It's easy to remove if you know what you're doing.

    Mr. Guru, can you give me a link or direction to buy one of those long green brushes you are using on the wheel at around 5:11 ? That looks like an extremely useful brush to get into crevices and areas that the more traditional brushes cannot reach, especially on the wheels as you have demonstrated here. Thanks for any information you may be able to provide.

    I'm surprised to see you seem to wash the entire car before rinsing off. I've seen this in several of your videos. I rinse off at least 2-3 times while doing the hand wash part for fear of the soap drying and staining the paint, even in the shade. On another note I really enjoy your videos, not only for the things I learn (I'm strictly a two-car amateur driveway detailer), but I also find your videos soothing to listen to and relaxing.

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  7 лет назад

      If you're not using filtered water it's actually better to let the soap dry rather than the straight water. Provided it a quality product it shouldn't stain and will simply be reactivated and removed during the final rinse. That being said, there's nothing wrong with rinsing individual panels provided you keep them wet throughout the wash.

    Am I ask a question please? I am starting a mobile valeting business in Oxfordshire. Where do you get your water from? I have read many conflicting reports re this and not really found an answer. If I fill my van water tank form home will I fall foul of business rates from the water company or would I be better looking at hiring a standpipe. All help gratefully received.

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  6 лет назад

      I just use the customers outside tap now as I'm usually there all day so it's not an issue but back when I was mobile valeting at the side of the road etc I filled my tank up at home.

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  8 лет назад

      +Craig One of the hardest parts of a car to properly clean. Any decent glass cleaner and a lint free microfibre towel should do the trick, you just have to persevere! If you're still having trouble though you may want to try a glass polish instead.

My Maserati has extensive amounts of alcantara on the seats, doors, headliners, and steering wheel. i find the door handles and steering wheel collect dust from frequent use and the oils from my hands accelerate the soiling. im never sure how to clean it properly. i see some people saying use only water, others saying use small amount of soap and damp cloth. i would appreciate if you did a video on how to properly clean alcantara. thanks

My friend had one catch fire 2 times but he's flat broke so he just keeps it, but if you look online for some reason alot of Ford's are known to light up,I even even the new rs go on the track and they lit up more than once. My mom's t bird caught fire in the driveway. My dad's friends ford ranger caught fire etc etc,on the internet if you look they're always having fires so maybe that's why you don't see too many

      +Luc Malenfant (LucM70) toothbrush. :)
      It's narrow enough to get in behind the grille to the radiator and if you get a flexible one like aquafresh it can be worked around cheeky corners.

    Do you think you'll be using cookie monsters testicles for washing other cars in the future, or will you go back to the wool wash mits? Thanks for putting together another informative and entertaining video 😃

    how strong of a pressure washer do you recommend when washing cars? i just got one that has a 1600psi output.

      Not the car guru but I think that's a good psi he made a different video where he talked about pressure washer myths. Just keep the lance moving and use a wider tip.

    What product would you recommend to remove non paint scratches, only surface scracthes that are hard to remove even after a wash?

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  8 лет назад

      +Dre2383 Do you mean scuffs? Like paint transfer from something else.

      +Car Cleaning Guru even just for a super clean car its a very good idea clay bar your car from time to time.

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  8 лет назад +1

      From time to time yes but I never make a habit of claying and skipping straight to waxing without first polishing.

    • @ikarovibritania8432
      @ikarovibritania8432 8 лет назад

      +Car Cleaning Guru but everytime you polish your car, you reduce the amount of clear coat on it, so i guess its not a good idea do it really often. However you can clay bar your car, as much as you want. Correct me if im wrong cheers

    Minty dirty bits and cookie monster testicles!
    On a serious note, I noticed the tires looked a little soiled, what is your preferred method for cleansing sidewalls of tires?
    Thanks for another entertaining and informative video!

    • @CarCleaningGuru
      @CarCleaningGuru  8 лет назад +1

      +95lightning01 Usually just some diluted APC when cleaning the wheels. Strong wheel cleaners work well too.
