We went here in April 2024. Our helicopter ride was cancelled, plus it’s at least another 45 min ride to the resort from the helicopter pad in Castries. Apparently they are short staffed and can’t accommodate everyone who wants to book. The ride from the airport is really long, closer to 2 hours. The food was good at every restaurant we visited. Entertainment was excellent. We didn’t find the atmosphere was “party”, but the main pool was a hub of activity. The main complaint I have about this location is that there isn’t enough shade for beach lovers who need to be protected. You have to be a go-getter and be outside and reserve chairs before all the butlers get out there-some people said well before 6AM. This is insane. We are on vacation!! Then you have visitors from La Toc and Halcyon coming and grab up more of the chairs. We did 2 excursions, 1) sunset cruise-beautiful, but a drive of about 1 hour picking up others from the other Sandals, then the cruise was only about 1-2 hours, so a lot of driving. 2) zip lining-this was fantastic, but we went drove the 1-1.5 hours, picked up others and then arrived around noon. It was so hot!! There were only 2 water stations between zips, and 1 was empty. It seemed we were the last group there, so there didn’t seem to be any urgency to refill the water. Not sure we would return due to the travel from Toronto to St. Lucia. We were exhausted our first day, but otherwise a nice vacation.
We have been to that Sandals resort three times and loved it. We are going back to St. Lucia at the end of November but this time we are staying at Sandals La Toc to somewhere different for a change.
We are going in June 2024 but staying at Halcyon beach. Is there a hot dog stand at the Grande?? The one in Barbados was an awesome treat, so just curious!
Taking my girlfriend on a suprise baby moon and also doing a proposal here. Are the rooms updated? As in like at least a updated smart tv? We are staying in a penthouse honeymoon suite
If you had to choose one for your honeymoon, would you select this one or La Toc? Assuming basic rooms not the fancy bungalows to keep things even for comparison purposes. thanks!
Are you going to video on Halycon? I am staying their in January. It has been great to see the videos for La Toc and Grande St Lucian so thank you very much :)
Hi Shenise, we will eventually but we have a handful of others in the works first. You can email us and we can help you decide. Info@honeymoonalways.com

La Toc has zero nightlife. Rough beach too.
How long was the boat ride? Sea sick?

Yes! Halcyon is up next.
Great content
Great video! Going for my honeymoon here next June. Can you please send me the info about the boat ride you took from the airport?
Its called FunToSeeIsland.com
What month and year were you there filming this?
This was in February of 2023
Were you able to bring your luggage on the helicopter to the airport or how was that handled?
They send your luggage separately but you can take a small bag with you.
Can you purchase the heli ride that day?
I’m pretty sure it needs to be purchased ahead of time.
Ty
