First-rate ambient demo of V-Synth! How would you compare it to Blofeld in terms of ambient sound generation? I am offered a good deal on a Blofeld keyboard, but wonder if V-Synth is already more than enough. Thanks.
Thanks. I haven't used Blofeld but the interface seems a bit restrictive to me with the limited knobs. Also, don't think you can sample or import samples into it, or time stretch them like on V-Synth. V-Synth is unique and really excels at morphing and stretching sounds/time, not as a traditional VA. Blofeld to me seems more of a traditional VA/wavetable synth.
Thanks, I really like this piece too. The V-Synth's sample mangling can get into almost granular territory and I tried to experiment with that in this piece. Even nearly 20 years later the V-Synth is still a powerhouse. I suppose the Waldorf Quantum and Iridium can be thought of as a modern successor.
Can you name the patches and the banks they come from. I have just got this too and love it. I have bought a bunch of projects for it so got lots of sounds.
Thank you. I did not use my own samples, this was from a preset of some type which I then slowed down the sample waveform used and pitch/stretched it using V-Synth controls.
Been listening to this for years now. Still a bliss ...
I also own a V-synth. It is an AMAZING machine and probably a future classic. Needs very, careful fine tweaking though.
It is very powerful and there is lots under the hood to master. A truly deep sound design and sculpting tool that is still relevant to this day.
Beautiful music
Thanks Petr, appreciate you taking some time to listen and leave a comment.
So good. Thank you!
Thanks, you're welcome.
Great sounds magical atmosphere, good 🎹👍
Thank you my friend, appreciate your kind words. Thanks for listening.
Ver relaxin' piece. Can't wait to grab my Spanish guitar and see what kinda melodies I can come up with. Keep up the good work!
Thanks as always. Have a great jam. :)

Very nice, are you using the onboard Osc sources or your own samples in this? Cheers Glyn.

Thanks, I'm trying to showcase different sides of this synth. There is lots to discover.
