I use that exact sonik sleeve you got there for my 7 ft 2 piece nash pursuit 3lb rods. Fit a treat great quality bag and as you say you can carry brolly too.

I originally wanted Scopes, but wasn't willing to pay the high price for them, considering they can all the do the same jobs just aswell as each other. I recently bought a 10ft xtractor 4.5tc for catfish stalking, hoping to use that soon.
I've got the cork 9ft 3lb tc x2 and the 5000 matching reels, do your spools wobble when winding in buddy? mine just don't feel right and I'm expecting them to break!! But they don't,they just feel weird, don't get me wrong I love them but like you said they don't have the legs for that bit of distance you sometimes need, other than that there awesome and I'd recommend them, I've even got a 6ft 3lb stalking rod to, I've put camo tape on all 3 butt sections and everybody's different but I think they look awesome pal, Tight Lines guys 🇬🇧 🎣 ✊🏼
love my xtractor 2x10ft 3.25 tc got that rod bag as well. went for the 2x 5000 xtractor reels think got mine in aug last year for about 270 quid with a 42" xtractor landing net, was actually going to get a 3rd rod and reels and get that transporter until I see your last review. my mate wanted my xtractor sleeve for his nash dwarfs. nice review just how I feel about that product. the only downside is their plastic clips. one of mine did break quite easy but got on the blower to Sonik customer service they sent another clip out :D mine must have just been a bit funny
Absolutely love them rods. Lovely bit of kit. Yeah check out my transport system review. It didn’t really work out for me tbh but it might suit your style of fishing . Mines up for sale if you don’t wanna pay full price 👍🏼 🎣

Great review ! What cast distance do you get with the 9 ft rod ? Im looking at these, need to reach 80ish yards with 2-3 oz lead. Not sure whether to go with the 9 or 10 ft. Im after catfish in the 5 to 25 lb range. And like to play them. Thanks for your time.
Thanks mate. You can achieve 80 yards with the 3lb/3.25lb test curve rods. Mine are 2.75lb. I’d probably go 10ft 3lb if I was you. I’ve been thinking about getting them with cork handles as well. Love the look of them!

Cheers mate really appreciate it 👍🏼. There is around 5cm if the butt of the rod is all the way at the bottom. I do put a protective sleeve over the rod tips just in case. Been away for a little bit but I’ll have another video up within the week 👍🏼. Thanks for the support man
The ngt rod bag is so much better mate where you butt and tips go there is bit of plastic inthe bag to protect them it is just the same design as the sonik one
I don’t see why they wouldn’t, the only thing they won’t do is cast far because of the shorter length. I’ve had fish up to 29lb comfortably. Played a lot of double figure fish through real weedy lakes as well. You can get them in 3.5tc
Get ngt one mate the same set out but is better as it has bits of plastic in the ends of the bag to protect it has a pocket and has bankstick loops only 20 quid
