देवानंद जी का लोग बहुत इज्जत करते हैं। उनको कोई भी ना नहीं कह सकता। पैसों की बात तो कोई सोचता भी नहीं जब देवानंद फिल्म बनाते हैं।

Dev Anand only had to make a call, and any or everybody would be happy to work in his film. That was his charisma. Most of these people have been given breaks by him. They didn't expect their market price but they were all paid decently and you never heard anyone saying they were not paid their dues. His films did not do well, but he made films to keep himself busy and alive. He kept making films though all of them flopped but he did not die a pauper. He was still a few hundred crores worth when he died. Many others would have died of heart attack or would have declared themselves insolvent to avoid creditors but not Dev. He never bothered about money and money never left him a pauper. Why do we hear filmmakers going bankrupt after one flop or actors who made big money dying in penury. His last hit was Des Pardes and after that he must have made at least 15 films and none did well. Isn't it surprising. May be he was a blessed child of God, a Dev.

Very well said with lot of facts ......yes despardes was his last hit .....what a journey he had ...bhagwan had given him supreme power . you will be surprise that there ware 2 films on the pipeline when he died RIP , what a courage.... There is a line in Geeta that what ever the destination your journey should be good memorable ..and dev sahab exactly did this ❤
