I'd like to thank Jack Whites parents for providing a brilliant mind to this world that we live in. Absolutely mind blowing. Grateful for what musical brilliance he has provided.
I wonder what it's like to sit back & watch your kid grow up & become this person. Pride.. I often wonder how his parents feel. I know they support him. But an actual interview on their perspective would be nice.
Mmmm,...yesss...he's delicious in so many aspects ...just njoy... that's it. I'd love to meet him and be a pervert in his demented mind, just for a good time! But that's mmmm...Mr. White
He has 6 brothers and 2 sisters so his parents had their hands full. Not to mention he was supporting himself and running his own business by age 21 before The WS ever got popular. He kind of manufactured himself.
With a single driver that favours low and mid frequencies, the upper frequencies like just cymbals and HH don’t disturb the paint as much… And all they needed for this video was a couple of fun ideas, and some good photography. Well, good editing.
Oobleck is a suspension of cornstarch and water that can behave like a solid or a liquid depending on how much pressure you apply. Try to grab some in your hand, and it will form a solid ball in your palm until you release the pressure. Then, it will flow out between your fingers.
dc dcd Well, for this song you're right, but if you look at is live performance, he's a really good guitarist, and if I'm wrong, why was he in the film ''It might get loud'' ? It's not only for its skill, but for is dedication to music..I heard that in some show his knuckles was bleeding, he scratch them on is guitar because he was too intense...or it may be a legend...don't know, but I like him...
Jack White is notoriously eccentric. Love him or hate him, he is true to himself. Such is the nature of a true artist I believe. I admire the man for doing what he damn well wants. Love him or hate him, take your pick....But at least he isn't clone like a large majority of the mainstream music industry. Yet.
this track is fucking cool...no siging...totally anti mainstream....agree with you 100% (that said...i`m not a Jack big fan...but this distortions...this riff, the dinamic...its great!)...hope for more dense experimental stuff on the record
Yet? If he were going to be a "clone" like most of mainstream music, it would have happened by now. He's been doing his thing for well over a decade now.
***** Ok that is complete crap. Just because he covers blues artists' songs sometimes doesn't mean he is stealing from them. He makes those songs his own when he plays them instead of doing it the same way as the original artists. He gives them credit and its not like thats all he does. Covers aren't stealing if due credit is given.
AchillesWrath Exactly right! You may have seen "It Might Get Loud", terrific documentary w. Jack White, The Edge and Jimmy Page; it's a favorite of mine. Jack White is a bluesman who no more "steals" from the blues than any other artist. It's not stealing; it's interpreting, covering with respect, and making a song your own. Do you say the same of Led Zeppelin? Eric Clapton? Jack White attacks his guitar and rips out your heart; that's why I love his music; it runs the gamut of all emotions, and he's a master musician. Been playing since he was a kid. Wish he'd come to Toronto!
+TypicalRobot tbh I like how it's spread an appreciation for this type of music? adverts or not it's potentially changing people from Bieber to White and that's good.
He one of the few inventive musicians these days. that doesn't rely on vocoders and loops. Though, there are other awesome musicians out there, you just have to dig a bit these days.
Hi I'm a Pre-Magnum Ad Jack White fan and I'd like to welcome all of you newcomers to this mental world of Jack White, all of whom have been drawn here by frozen chocolate treats. I imagine before this the only other JW song you'd heard was Seven Nation Army, alas no more, count yourself enriched my friends.
you can fuck right off with this elitism, all that matters here is this man and the masterpieces that are his songs, not how long you have been listening to him for, or how big of a fan you are. just let people enjoy what they enjoy without turning into a pissing contest.
Absolutely love this song! Jacks Guitar in this gives me goosebumps! I love the sound his guitar makes! I hope every song Is just as good as this on his new album! So happy he's back!!!
I adore the use of sound in this video! it's beautiful how the objects move to the vibrations. Jack White, you are a genius! i love everything you do... as i watch your videos i realize that we may be vibrating on the same frequency. i made a similar video a few years ago... i love you
Couldn't agree more. The Black Keys make me angry with every new release, but I never get tired of Jack's stuff. Makes me happy that somebody still makes the music I love. P.S. the new Wolfmother is also pretty good. Besides a couple of the tracks being almost the same as the first album...
Chris Coburn This comment was actually directed at The Black Keys, so good job on that. Yeah some songs do sound almost the same, it seems like they just changed the vocal melody and named it something new. The completely new songs by them are great though.
I am now a huge fan. I can play this anywhere...with some tact. I belong to so many communities that it's a free for all. I love the new lyric vibe with the old school sound, Dude, there is some genius in there. Please don't let it go to your head man. Keep your strange. Strange is awesome.
I can't believe it was 2014 when this came out. Glad we all got a pandemic Ball and Biscuit on SNL, God bless Jack. We've made it through hell, now we go to High Water.
Jack you need to come to California! Please I know so many people that would love it of you had a show near the Santa Barbara area. You inspire me. Please tour to California. You could count on me being there. Please
Jack never cease to amaze me of the essence of how much wonder I feel when I listen to one of his songs. Everything Jack White is has always been beautiful to me since day one (15+ years ago) and I'm not trying to raise his ego. His beauty is in his creatividad: the way he thinks, how the stars in the sky shine bright when every note and riff on that guitar ignites the passion he feels in his soul. I'm here to tell you his way of thinking, his creativty, passion and his soul is the most beautiful thing to me. This song is beautiful I can feel passion in every note played on this song. Music does not always have to have words in order to feel someone spirit in that song. I agree it is sacred. All you have to do is sit back,
Jack, I think your totally awesome. My 5 year old son did a video today showing how to write a Jack White song in 30 seconds. It would be the coolest thing ever if you and a few people could check it out.
Jackie White really gets it and knows how to show it. Being a young lad in my early 50's (was just a lil boy in 1967 through 1971 who happened to hear & witness just some of the stuff rock & U.S. history is made of-wished I'd seen more),and what I hear is a guy who really knows the tricks of the trade. Turn On and beware you don't get burnt!
Twopips1 really? I had no idea. I thought it was paint. Cornstarch would def do less damage than paint and would be more malleable for the movement...less heavy than paint. thanks for the info ! :)
LoveEvery SecondOfThoseSOUNDS both efecting and infecting my ears, with a toch of that raise of plenty of the SHADE in there 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂😉 head spinig experiance EXT gratefull!!!
Jack White is most definitely a very creative and talented original. I'm highly impressed with Blunderbuss and his isn't the "type" of music I generally listen to. Anyone with an ear for music, including many seasoned greats, realize his skills and the pro's are eager to collaborate. I look forward to his many future projects.
Wow, he's just ripping into it. I usually can't get into pure guitar wizardry like this, but damn. This album might end up being better than Blunderbuss.
This is sssoooooooo BADASS! The kind of music that makes you feel like a king when you walk down the street with your headphones on. Makes you want to play air guitar.

Hahaha ah man, that is the kinda noise I was hoping from them. Instead we got a jingle. There's hope for the album yet though. Don't lose faith just yet!
This is exactly what I felt was missing from Blunderbuss. Just a little more bite...but this is delicious. So excited for this album! We've missed you Jack xxxxxxx
I felt the same way about Blunderbuss, but I was able to accept the complexity and growth of his writing as an ample substitute for the missing ''bite''.
I like to imagine he went into the studio with his blue suit and blue guitar, he closed his eyes and started playing his heart out while blue melted down his arms and down his finger tips onto the floor, just left standing their with a white t shirt, red pants and his red airline when he opens his eyes.
It looks like that liquid is rockin' out on speakers and at certain points it's like little people dancing. The vocal part is really cool because it sounds like it could be some sort of pedal effect. The first thing I thought was, "Damn, he even makes these liquids shake their booties!" I like that it's an all girl band and Jack. Sweet sounds ladies..and Jack:)
Hmmm.... I guess.
Most often it is a complete lack of parental influence that creates genius like this.
I love how he is never afraid of instrumentals, they are always fierce.
As an audio tech....all substances react to vibration...but to master liquids vibration is fucking magic. Hats off Jack and crew! Wow
the sand part at 1:37 looks really cool
With a single driver that favours low and mid frequencies, the upper frequencies like just cymbals and HH don’t disturb the paint as much… And all they needed for this video was a couple of fun ideas, and some good photography. Well, good editing.
Oobleck is a suspension of cornstarch and water that can behave like a solid or a liquid depending on how much pressure you apply. Try to grab some in your hand, and it will form a solid ball in your palm until you release the pressure. Then, it will flow out between your fingers.
It will also respond to vibrations
Very cool video though
Hes amazing
This song is just straight up badass.
Jack White is like dopamine without the drugs.
It’s like a war cry, I feel like.
Pure Jack White...this guy is amazing, probably the best electric guitarist of is generation.
***** who is that ?
c'mon!!! he is damn creative, but that does nothing with guitar skills or effect overload
dc dcd technicians are crap
dc dcd Well, for this song you're right, but if you look at is live performance, he's a really good guitarist, and if I'm wrong, why was he in the film ''It might get loud'' ? It's not only for its skill, but for is dedication to music..I heard that in some show his knuckles was bleeding, he scratch them on is guitar because he was too intense...or it may be a legend...don't know, but I like him...
last time i checked(long time ago) he's rolling stones magazines 17th best guitarrist
Jack White is notoriously eccentric. Love him or hate him, he is true to himself. Such is the nature of a true artist I believe. I admire the man for doing what he damn well wants.

Absolutely, he is an artist. Don't think his integrity will change. Come to Toronto Ontario Jack!
***** Ok that is complete crap. Just because he covers blues artists' songs sometimes doesn't mean he is stealing from them. That little piano riff really gets me. So simple, yet so divine.
Agreed - the dynamic is has to the song is very very essential.
Yes, please. If this is the direction the album is taking I will be very happy.
Wow! I absolutely love that raw, screeching sound coming from Jack's guitar. It's so unique to him, and I can't wait for this album!
its absolutely signature, isn't it?
Lazaretto Album brought me here (not fucking adverts)
Finally someone I can relate to
+TypicalRobot tbh I like how it's spread an appreciation for this type of music? adverts or not it's potentially changing people from Bieber to White and that's good.
+James Clarke This, just this.
Your parents must be proud :d
Once again Jack White reinvents rock and roll. This is why I love music!
He one of the few inventive musicians these days. that doesn't rely on vocoders and loops. Though, there are other awesome musicians out there, you just have to dig a bit these days.
***** where do you dig?
illosopher
seriously.
illosopher
Brilliant comment. Even if it wasn't intended as I read it.
Nothing about this track is original. You seriously need to listen to more music if you think he is reinventing rock and roll... lol.
This song destroys Fever. So excited for this album.

thanks man your awesome I saw jack White's performance on Glastonbury it was sick I actually didn't know he did seven nation army
dude. you should write the same thing under icky thump video. we need more people like you.
you can fuck right off with this elitism, all that matters here is this man and the masterpieces that are his songs, not how long you have been listening to him for, or how big of a fan you are. just let people enjoy what they enjoy without turning into a pissing contest.
THE LEGEND IS BACK. June can't come quick enough.
I could probably watch this all day.
I'm going to be playing along to this track with my guitar for years to come.
Absolutely love this song! Jacks Guitar in this gives me goosebumps! I love the sound his guitar makes! I hope every song Is just as good as this on his new album! So happy he's back!!!
me: is this actually Jack? he's changed...
Video: 1:14
me: yep, that's jack ;)
I adore the use of sound in this video! it's beautiful how the objects move to the vibrations. Jack White, you are a genius! i love everything you do... as i watch your videos i realize that we may be vibrating on the same frequency. i made a similar video a few years ago... i love you

I just keep finding more Jack White that I like, love it.
In an age where all my favorite bands are becoming poppy and commercial, Jack White and Wolfmother are back!
Exactly how I feel!!! Sooo stoked Wolfmothers back and heavier than ever!... oh yea and jack whites just as amazing as hes always been!
Couldn't agree more. The Black Keys make me angry with every new release, but I never get tired of Jack's stuff. Makes me happy that somebody still makes the music I love. P.S. the new Wolfmother is also pretty good. Besides a couple of the tracks being almost the same as the first album...

I have to get into more of this dude's music. This was sick. The video totally fit the song.

It's my opion too
CAN. NOT. GET. OVER. THIS. TRACK.
In the past year, I've been so consumed the earthly problems. I forgot to stop & feel the music. Thanks for reminding me, Jack!
this video looks like a really trippy opening credits scene for a movie
like what How to Destroy Angels did for the opening to The Girl With The a Dragon Tattoo
Breaking Bad
Jack, I think your totally awesome. My 5 year old son did a video today showing how to write a Jack White song in 30 seconds. It would be the coolest thing ever if you and a few people could check it out.
List it on RUclips, I would love to watch it:)
Chris Melanson thanks, here is the video Amazing 5 Year Old Jordan Writes A Jack White Song In 30 Seconds
Daniel Bijan I liked what your son did. It was fun to watch.
Stephen Eisenberg thanks a lot Stephen
HOW CUTE!
Thank you for existing.. I love the new stuff
Who else is here in 2024?
Jackie White really gets it and knows how to show it. Greatest song writer in the past 20+ years.
KING JACK 👑🏆
a new jack white album? this better isn't an april fool....don't you mess with my feelings! ;)
strong Jimi Hendrix vibe. I do love the video....love the paint dancing to the vibrations
maybe thats why i got that feeling in my body
yeah, Jack White has that kind of effect on us, doesn't he. Brilliant and talented!
That is cornstarch water and food dye. just jyi
Twopips1 really? I had no idea. I thought it was paint. Cornstarch would def do less damage than paint and would be more malleable for the movement...less heavy than paint. thanks for the info ! :)
My pleasure
This is the exact sort of song I thought blunderbuss was lacking.. Terrific.
agreed! Was a pretty flat and boring album with a couple of exceptions. Hopefully this one makes up for it!
LoveEvery SecondOfThoseSOUNDS both efecting and infecting my ears, with a toch of that raise of plenty of the SHADE in there 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂😉 head spinig experiance EXT gratefull!!!
I've been looking for this video since EVER. I saw it once at MTV and never leaved my head.
Love the fuzzy guitar sound..... Dude never dissapoints cant wait til whole album is released
No need to have a Grammy Awards show, just give it all to Jack.
1:56 Sounds like someone threw a grenade in there!
+Christian charles Jack White+Big Muff+Micro Amp= GRENADE!
+Christian charles Jack reminds me of Hendrix, not necessarily in style, although there's plenty of that, but in the way he is willing to experiment.
+MegaNataz I can always enjoy something from Jack. So far, my least favorite record with him is 3 dollar hat from dodge and burn.
+MegaNataz that part reminds me of hendrix on Machine Gun imitating rockets firing
Love the music, miss seeing you play your music! Bring back the old~cool~Jack!
Saw him perform live this summer. God I love his music, and he is even better liveeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this! But I do think the vocals are a bit much
Really? I thought they added a nice intensity. Reminded me of Great Gig in the Sky.
I love jack white he is a master of his craft all he touches i enjoy greatly
Oh hell yeah.
i can watch this and listen to this all day long
1m 58 seconds this song really takes off!!! It blows the bloody doors off! Would love to hear this live!! 🤘
jack white is da man.
Always been one of my favourites off of the album ! ! !
Amazing! So good the melody is so awsome! And that riff! Im speechless!
How in the living hell are you not famous jack white, your a fucking legend
glad he's keeping it simple. I like it.
Never enough of Jack White!!!
Wow, he's just ripping into it. I usually can't get into pure guitar wizardry like this, but damn. This album might end up being better than Blunderbuss.
You nailed it!!
Love it more than Blunderbuss tbh
The magnum ad reminded me of how good this song is so yes it did bring me here but i wasnt introduced to this song by the ad
that's great. but to be introduced to a song by an ad is totally ok. i don't understand why people hate newcomers.
100,000 times now and still continue listening to it...
The video is the best in the world
Im glad he's bringing back distortion. Most music is so over produced these days. Him and Gary Clark Jr. should team up :)
only a matter of time before this is a theme tune for some new amazing tv show that captivates the world, its got that vibe..
Best use of Non-Newtonian fluid in a music video ever.
I just randomly remembered this song.. First heard it on MTV when the album dropped and I loved it sooo much
AMO A JACK WHITE
This is sssoooooooo BADASS! The kind of music that makes you feel like a king when you walk down the street with your headphones on. Makes you want to play air guitar.
mr. white plainly proves once again that he is the music worlds' new "Man in Black". (Y)
This Solo hits you like a lightning Strike, running naked in a cold , dark Night on a freshly plowed Field.
I feel like this is our generations version of the song Rumble by Link Wray,no words required to convey so much attitude.
Jack White is a one of a kind once of a life time
NEVER STOP TO MAKE MUSIC!!!!
Never
Stop
MAKING
🎶
Excellent work Mr. White!
We’ve started a music movement where we feature underground artists to help get them noticed. All great revolutions start small, so join the movement and tell your friends, and who knows maybe you'll be able to get your music featured!
ABSOLUTELY GENIUS
There's an ad. Didn't know. I get my rock straight up but hey if you got nothing to sell you're not a sell out. Jack rocks
0:30-0:43 God I love that piano, RIP Ikey Owens, a very talented musician and great piano player in the Buzzards!
That’s my favourite part. Something eerie about it
reminds me of a western film for some reason!
probably something he wrote for lone ranger and the didnt score it
Brettski87 That’s most likely true. He apparently was set to score the film but dropped out due to scheduling conflicts, and instead they used Hans Zimmer
Lazaretto has been called the most Antcipated Album of the Year
Now I am anticipating also!
This song is brilliance personified. Absolutely brilliant and bad-to-the-bone.
Does Jack White have any other amazing video like this latex paint one?
And that folks is how you make music!
This is freaking brilliant.
this brilliant is freaking.
Thank you, this is healing me from "FEVER" even if it comes from a lazaretto.
Fucking agree with you!
Bless you for that sentence. Fever almost killed my day, until I heard this
Hahaha ah man, that is the kinda noise I was hoping from them. Instead we got a jingle. There's hope for the album yet though. Don't lose faith just yet!
Chris Dorgan That's actually a good point, man. Hopefully the other songs are way better than Fever.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JACK!!!
Another day in Jack's paradise, thank you!
This song is so amesome, finally a instrumental track! So powerful!
Tom Elliott I definitely agree with you, and I thought Blunderbuss was an incredible and interesting album. Just nice to have that drive back again!
I like to imagine he went into the studio with his blue suit and blue guitar, he closed his eyes and started playing his heart out while blue melted down his arms and down his finger tips onto the floor, just left standing their with a white t shirt, red pants and his red airline when he opens his eyes.
Red airline? And he flies off to mushroomland?
@@latetodagame1892 they're saying he went down to his roots in this song.
@@latetodagame1892 he used to play a red airline brand guitar in the white stripes
This is the best non official video ever...Uber cool!
my fav track on the album please more like this jack
Cyprien HELLO ! ;)
I totally saw that too! Great minds!
I don't even think it's vocals. I strongly believe he's using his whammy pedal with some other weird effects.
THIS IS PURE PHYSICS!!! AWESOME!
srsly cannot stop listening to this! See you this summer jack!
i am emotionally connected to this video
there's really no better track to play in the background of a pre-world-cup-match Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) monologue
Wow.
LOVE THIS MAN!!! (not in a gay way), always keeping true to himself and doing what he wants, NEVER STOP!!!!.
God, has even ever made a BAD song? Geez, what a genius.
Siz yokken biz Jack white fanları vardık zaten. MAGNUMDAN FALAN GELMEDİM :)
