Idk about other silicone mask makers but for the Metamorphosis old bald head man mask I found is extremely hard to put on and will possibly tear if you force it too much. I found that it's a liiiiiittle easier if you sweat a little bit before trying it on. There's about a 3 inch section on the back of the head thats very thin compared to the rest of the head. I fear this will tear with any little pulling. The back of the neck part is very thick which I believe is the hardest part to get passed without suffocating when trying it on.I love love love the mask alone but i thought it would've been alot more comfortable to put on at least. The videos make it look very very easy but I didn't experience that at all.
How would I repair a vinyl mask? I have a Don Post Studios 1977 Tor Johnson thick vinyl mask. There is like to really small half inch cracks in The Mask
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF GE THEY CHANGED THE FORMULA AND IT EATS AWAY AT THE SILICONE OVERTIME MAKING IT GUMMY . I’ve been working with silicone mask for 10 years first at SPFX masks and now at Immortal Masks . I am a silicone painter but before that I used to patch, glue hair and attach horns and teeth to the silicone mask .

I have a foam latex prop that is in need of repairs..i was told using silicone like you did would work in repairing similar tears...true?
False. Silicone only sticks to silicone. Latex would be your best bet.
