I think it would be fun if you did a challenge to make a track not using any repeating pieces. It limits the length but I think it would be fun to see what kind of weird track you'd come up with
I've just recently rediscovered your game, and I'm having a lot of fun with it. All the new features are great, and I'm making a water park course that I hope you get to see when I'm done
The only problem with the track is it needed a SINGLE booster where everyone was losing speed at where the ramp was right after the double stair wall ride. One speed boost and it would have been WAY more doable.
It's 45 pieces as 5 that show during loading are stuff like the ground floor, skybox color, and etc. I used to do a lot of text file editing for creations before plugins made by the community came out, now I can never go back to using a note pad ^^
I think it's important to specify 45(maybe 50?)Track pieces. As in, parts that the 'cars' drive upon. Other than that, Fans, Decorations, Boosters, Obstacles, and otherwise aesthetic pieces don't have a limitation. Maybe this could be a continuous challenge; 50, then 40, then 30, and so on.
No touch tracks, unfortunately, are really kinda boring in zeepkist. Because of the physics in multiplayer is not entirely consistent, players will not go exactly the same way every time as soon as any kind of jump & landing is involved. You can generally get away with a little bit of track on either side of a single jump as long as that jump is not too high, but any more than that is asking for trouble, there's a bunch of tracks that start with a no-touch jump or a no-touch drop-in... although many of them are not entirely reliable and will fail sometimes. TL;DR --no-touch tracks have to be very simple, with lots of margin for error, not go too fast, and not jump to high... so... kinda boring.
I have a fun idea for your weekly track builds. You guys should spend a week creating your own Grand Prix like in mario kart and race all 4 tracks and earn points based on placement.
Rough that the big hill requires 150 speed to just crawl over the top, and looks like 170-180 to be actually comfortable. Seems pretty easy to lose that much speed just on a imperfect landing right before. One mega sized fan even at low power I though would've helped people a lot. Effectively climbing up 10 hills with no boost is rough. It might be rough, but I think a "wallride" week could be interesting.
A funny idea is to make a track so long the u can only get like one or two attempts at it before the time runs out. It’s like one life track or something
thats trackmania style racing edit: i also love kans F1 car. badass listening to daybreak embrace retrodrive would be a perfect song for this track i have a name for this track and upvote me if you want cause its from acceleracers Cactus realm
@kAN Gaming, try an ‘up & back’ theme, courses where you have to go from the start to a checkpoint at the ‘end’ and then back to the start again to get to the finish, taking the same track in both directions.
This might be a stupid question, but here it goes anyways. In Zeepkist, can you have a track underwater? If so, would you and the others be able to have an "underwater" theme? Or something that uses ice - maybe a track that resembles a giant freezer? I think that would be pretty cool...
There's no water in zeepkist, most 'water' you see is ice, glass, or one of the blue pattern textures. If you are inside an object, that object become invisible to you so you cannot put the players inside a block of glass. (Or rather, you can, but it will just be as if the block isn't there). You could still theme a track as if you were underwater, with unchanged physics, but basically that'd be enclosing the whole thing in a blue box or blue dome, using one of the bluer nighttime settings, and making a bunch of underwater decoration -- which doesn't exist so you'd have to build it out of primitive components. This can make for a cool track, but it's hours of artwork to do right and not really suited to a 15 minute trackbuilding challenge, and also doesn't really put any limits on the track itself. I know they add extra time on the end for cosmetics, but not, I think, the hours required for a really cool underwater track. They already did a bunch of ice tracks on the slippery tracks week.
a theme i thought might be fun is Frankenstein to clarify what this means is each of you pick 3 of your previous themes and have to find a way to make them work together on one track best way to pick is slap them on a wheel and hope you don't get screw'd.
You guys should make a race track that splits into 2 roads, and those roads split into 2 as well, and it keeps on splitting. However, each split side should be a random obstacle design or evolution from the previous split sections before it. I am going to get the game and try it myself if you guys don't lol.
Idea: you all use the same set and number of preselected track pieces to build a course. Decorate it your own way without using those decorations as structural elements. (e.g. no roads made of outhouses or shipping crates, etc.) See how each of you use the pieces in comparison and how your individual personas spice it up a bit.
@@nickichambers9328 oh yeah for sure. Throw some cats in the corners, a spinning hammer trap, and a boost jump through a helicopter or two. (As long as those parts are agreed upon.) My only goal is the limitation and "spirit of the challenge" such that the differences are more in the implementation rather than just freeforming within a genre. 3 guys each given a guitar will come up with wildly different melodies using the exact same toolset. The same applies here. It'd be breaking the challenge to add a drum kit, but percussion using the guitar's body? Within spec.🙃
hey kAN here's a challenge for you make a track that uses at least one piece multiple times (so you might cross this piece once on the top only to later wallride maybe once on the inside wall and once on its outside and even go across the underside) basically the challenge would be to recycle as many already placed pieces as many times as possible. (I think it could be interesting to see people who are far along even as someone starts a run)
This would be awsome if he could make a very easy short path (like 5 pieces) and then at the and it repeats but each time a bit bigger, so you'll have to find a different way after some time.
You would have been able to put down the time if you didn't scrapped all your run at the first small mistake: at 8:00 it looked like you were actually going to make it, even if at a crawl. When the lap time is so long it is worth to waste a couple of seconds to see if you ACTUALLY are going to finish it...
Theme idea: toy track. Bit similar to this theme in that you'd be like a toy car in a scaled up environment. I remember Wirtual making one or more videos about maps like this in TrackMania
I think SPIRAL could be a cool theme to do. I imagine kAN could recreate DANTE'S INFERNO in ZEEPKIST. You know, 9 RINGS OF HELL and all that cool stuff
This was weird. Fun, but weird. I'm glad there was actually way to go avoid going those stairs the normal way :D
Warcans, you are an absolute god at Zeepkist.

45 of which some are cacti? I count approximately 12 cacti, so 33 track pieces, 2 of which are planks for the wall rides.

They did "no touch" tracks, were you didn't need to touch the controls to finish.

Still a bit salty I couldn't finish this, a real tire-killer 😄 Loved how each one of you had pretty different implementations of the theme this time
