Gameplay from the 2023 version of PAYDAY: Crime War, a mobile spinoff of PAYDAY 2. Unlike the PvP focused version from 2018, this one is focused on PvE.
I spend a good chunk of this video looking around the map and admiring some of the weird changes and bugged textures, so you can skip to 5:10 if you want to see actual gameplay.
@@Lolnoobwut1 you have to compare it to other mobile games to see if it's good. I would say it's a good game, there's not many coop pve live service games on the mobile market
@@yol_n If you really crave a coop live service mobile shooter, you're better off just playing Armed Heist. Crime War might have the actual PAYDAY IP attached to it, but it looks and feels unpolished. I should add that live service isn't exactly a good thing.
To give an honest review, most of my "fun" from this was just the novelty of the developers trying to remake PAYDAY 2 on a phone. Outside of that, this iteration of Crime War is far more jank, unpolished, and less unique than the previous PvP oriented version of Crime War. On top of that, the game has worse optimization than the PvP version, which I suspect is due to the developers lacking experience with 3D game development. It really just feels like "PAYDAY 2 at home", which isn't great given that the actual PAYDAY 2 has its fair share of jank.
@Zdann I think it's only intended to be played until payday 3 gets released. there is a game called "armed heist" and it's 10× better than this, my standards for game are really low but God damn it hurts to look at the in-game equipment of this game and see their pictures straight up ripped off from payday 2. like can't they change some things to make the game feels different

Almost on the level of skyrim mannequins. The janky visuals could honestly sell this as a horror game in disguise
