    Wow, nice video, Jannet. Hello from Kazan, Russia ☺ I would love to visit Amman one day, these markets remind me a lot of Cairo's local markets. And BTW Kunafa is believed to have Egyptian origins from the Fatimid Caliphate, some others believe it was first made during Umayyad Caliphate in the Caliph's residential palace in Damascus.

    • @mustafaahram
      @mustafaahram 2 года назад +2

      Correction, the guy who said that it is originated from this part of the Middle East is (Ahmad) the very same Egyptian guy escorting her, Kunafah is originated from Palestine and to be more specific from the City of Nablus, that's why it's called Kunafah Nabulsia, it was spread to Jordan and the neighboring countries (Syria & Lebanon) along with the Palestinian refugees who flee the ethnic cleansing and massacres upon the immigration of the European Jews to Palestine, Jordan has the best or second best Kunafahs ever made in the world after the City of Nablus because the majority of the Palestinian refugees flee to Jordan and that's why almost 50% of Jordanians are from Palestinian origin, Kunfah was later spread to Egypt and most of the Arab world, but nothing they do is even close to the Kunafah from Nablus or Jordan, oh one more thing, even in Egypt they call it Kunafah Nabulisah ;)

    • @RahmantchikHatemov
      @RahmantchikHatemov 2 года назад +2

      @@mustafaahram Hi, the guy on the video doesn't know actually. Kunafa Nabulsia is only one type of Kunafa that was developed in Palestine only 150 years ago. In Egypt for example they cook it with nuts, or cream, and recently with mangoes and cream, etc. Read more about the origins of this dish. You will find it was as this guy said originated in either Egypt during fatimieds Era or Syria during bani Ummayya era, which means over a thousand years ago not 150.

    • @mustafaahram
      @mustafaahram 2 года назад

      @@RahmantchikHatemov Wrong again my friend, the whole region got the Kunafah from Palestine and neither Egypt or any other country what kunafah was until recently and I am Talking 100-150 Years here, and there aren't different types or kinds of Kunafa but all they did is that they added their touch into it by adding other stuff and all they did in fact is ruin the Kunafah and t's just like taking words out of their context get your information straight. the word Nabulsia distinguishes by clearly mentioning the city of origin among other Palestinian cities, pay attention it never said Palestinian Kunafa to distinguish it from other types coming from other countries, get your information straight my friend.

    What the guy told u is lie that kinafeh is from Jordan, Syria , Palestine and Lebanon.
    The fact is kinafeh nabulsiah is from only Palestine and specially invented in nablus city in west bank, and because it is the best sweet , all Arabs loved it and palestinian refugees spread it to all the world.
    And also falafel and hummus is original Palestinian from akko city.
    We have to keep say that because it is now a cultural war, they all Israeli and some Arabs try to steal Palestinian cultural after they stole Palestinian land.
