Had same issue with the press fit bolt, I went same route as you with a stainless steel bolt, nut, washer. Thanks for sharing, your setup walkthrough helped a ton!
I love the mud flaps, I am getting them. I have the factory splash guards on my Subie, The rally armor looks better and not hard plastic that could break easy off road. Thanks for the heads up, Great video.
Yeah I simply used one of the OEM philipshead looking plastic snap in to connect that front to the bracket haha and actually i thought the mudflaps hung too low so i cut them with my dremel and a razor to make them more low profile. was able to check your video before install thanks!
Wish mine where that simple. Bought the rally armor flaps for my 2020 months ago but haven't worked on a solution to stop the rubbing. I went with the 235/75 Toyo a/t 3s. Even with the 2 inch rallitek lift and the 1 inch lift springs when I put the flaps on was in danger of ripping them off because the tires hit them. But I'm sure I will figure it out when I have time to experiment.
Looks great! That's a nice add. I like their design too. My Rokbokz rubbed and needed some trimming and bending on the front tires. Seems like these cleared without issues. Will be curious to see how they handle on the trail. Good luck and nice work!
Thanks, man! That was one of the things that drew me to RallyArmor. They made special flaps for lift and oversized tires. The instructions also detailed how to bend the brackets slightly to increase the clearance, which was nice. I am also pretty excited to see how they perform off road, and on the trails. I'm sure I'll be uploading a video to that effect before too long :p
Yeah, I'll probably either end up replacing the clip, or putting a bold in the other side as well. Mostly I was just bummed they didn't throw any extra clips in since they are plastic, but it's not a big deal :)
How odd. Do you have anything mounted to the bars or just the bars up there by themselves? I haven't noticed any whistle from mine, but I've got the basket and tire up there.
As someone who drives on forest roads occasionally (I'd say like 2-3 times a month, only for a couple hours each time), do you think I need the UR mud flaps, or should the basic ones that are half the price suffice?

Just got mine today. Going to throw them on my hyundai kona. Thanks for the demo. Your subi looks awesome 💯

Thanks! Yeah, he loves to "help", lol
You should be able to get new clips at any parts store.

Looks great! Quick question, have you had any noise issues with your Aero Bars? Mine just whistle till my ears want to bleed.

I have the same tire and rims for my 18. They are very good in the mud
I'm loving this setup. I could only find a single picture of another Crosstrek running KM3's, I wonder if that was you :p
Damn those tires they are some chunky boys.
That they are, haha
sir what tires/rims are you running....as i have a 2021 Cross Trek Sport....
All the specs for the build are in the description on my videos :)
Hey, thanks for sharing! It might help me, cuz i recently ordered Rally Armour mud flaps too))
Awesome! Good luck on the install, I found it pretty easy, but should you get stuck, there are a lot of install videos on these flaps.
@@TheAdventureZombie i think your instruction would be enough)) there is nothing difficult
@@fozzy_che Thanks! And your right, it's pretty straight forward :)

Basic ones should be fine. It won't be a plug and play fit, but it should be fine.
Looks good
Just be careful when backing up if your in deep snow.
Good call, thanks for the heads up!
Whats the specs on the trires/rims. Looks awesome
Specs are in the description near the bottom, with links :)
i'll buy you the ones that you removed. the factory ones :)
I'd agree to that. Message me on my YT About page, Instagram, or my FaceBook page, we can work something out :)
RA are great mudflaps, but very unreasonably overpriced
Expensive, but defiantly made well.
