+Cheif Pat Just giving an honest opinion. Made in Chelsea is a really bad reality TV show over here in England full of fake posh people who are so dim.
There's so much testosterone in this shit, I'M FUCKING LOVING IT! Also, I believe the Doof Warrior introduction (the guitar guy) will ended up as one of the most memorable scenes in action movies history. So freaking awesome
piplup2009 And that is how it should be! I'm so fucking tired of 90% of the movies these days being shot in front of a green screen with CGI garbage. Fury Road was such a breath of fresh air because almost everything in this movie was real stunts, real explosions and real stuntmen gettin tossed around. Imagine Michael Bay making the movie. Not only would the movie be complete trash literally everything except for the actors would be CGI.
Setsuna F Seiei You do realise they used green screen in this film too you know. In the last scene where Joe and Nux were killed that was green screen I think. And that sandstorm was CGI too
The part where the war boy sacrifices himself has so much heart to it. In just a few seconds you understand everything about these characters (that the movie needs you to know). They truly feel like a Viking culture.
Easily my favorite scene from the movie. Soon as a saw not only the dudes toughness and bravery, but also the comradery and dedication that the WarBoys had for each other and for the beliefs... I knew I was hooked.
I met the stunt director for Fury Road, he told me among other things that that "witness me" stunt was 100% authentic That's a stuntman who is also a parkour expert, and he really did make that jump off a moving truck onto a moving car, fucking brilliant stuff.
+BoJangles The Wise The second time I went was the last day, everyone there had already seen it before and we all screamed WITNESS! whenever they shouted it. Made a great group of friends (and crazy driving pals) that day.
Matt Kohnert It was originally written as a direct sequel to Thunderdome, back in 2001 when Shooting with Mel Gibson was canceled due to the Iraq War. Although Miller tweaked it a bit to be more of a reboot, he's said that to him it remains a Thunderdome sequel, even though he prefers that fans not think of it that way.
I thought that a suicide leap with incendiary explosives onto a spikey car while you have just been shot in the head and upper chest with arrows was pretty impressive as well...
And he dies later in the movie and the only people who see it don't care. I think Max is more traumatised by seeing his car get wrecked for the third time.
Check out the two warboys riding topside in Joe's Gigahorse on the left-hand side right after Nux guns it at around 1:12. Those suckers are grooving to the Doof's music! I never noticed that before.
Did anybody catch the constant theme in the film?. It was dolls, the milkers held dolls in their arms, Rictus wore a doll necklace. And if you look carefully alot of the vehicles were adorned with doll parts.
The more I watch these clips... As a guilty .. almost daily pleasure! The more Slit becomes one of my favourite characters ... Out of whole bunch of short lived , but interesting characters in this EPIC.
I missed how the guy on the back of Nox's car throws another thunderstick at the same time as the guy jumps in with the two, so it was actually hit with three. That's awesome.
"Cave Johnson here. Just a reminder that the core goal of Aperture-Gas-Finding is to find gas, so make sure to let us know if you see any. If we meet our quarterly gas-finding target, I promise you we will don our bondage gear, fuel our death-cars and drive around in circles whooping it up and shooting arrows at people! Who is ready to rule the wasteland? Alright, start looking."
I don't think I've ever fallen in love with a movie as fast or as strong as I did with Mad Max. Normally, it takes some repeat viewings to make me fall madly in love with a movie.
During these chase scenes, all I could think of was that one car commercial where the guys are driving through the desert singing, "Ride of the Valkyries" and I was even singing it.
first time watching anything mad max (94' baby) but this scene ill remember forever lol its metal af man, the guitar guy was the icing on the cake for me haha
+Katahn Hardy No. There was the scene when they met up with the motorcycle mamas and talked about finding their paradise and how it had been poisoned out of existence.
When I was 17, 'Road Warrior' had come out and was THE party movie to see when acid was around If THIS movie had come out back then..and the good tabs were around...we ALL would have lost our fucking minds! 'WITNESS ME, MOTHAFUCKAS!!'
I can't believe how there's people comparing this to Transformer or Fast and Furious, this is a masterpiece, I remember leaving the theater with a feeling I just can't explain.
Watched this for a seventh time today (that's right, seventh). And I'm watching RUclips videos of it? Ridiculous. One thing I am starting to love is the War Boy Slit. He is such a hater. "Mediocre, Morsov!".
George Miller: "How about we make the entire movie about one chase and we add a guy with a flamethrower guitar." Producers:" That will never, ever, work." George Miller: "Watch me."
What does one of the Buzzards shout in Russian before they shoot Morsov? I was thinking it must be the driver shouting something like "Look out!", but would be nice to know for certain.
I am relatively new to Mad Max, what was the reason why that guy was using Max as a blood bag? Was there something special about his blood or they just do that to any person they catch?
Nux needed blood because he was very sick. If you go back and watch the scene where they are tattooing Max, you can see one of the tattoos says "universal donor".
Love how in each movie human society disappears more and more. Now, it's nothin but wastelands and guitar flamethrowers. Fuckin love Mad Max
I know this an old comment but it’s awesome! A sense of story telling without having to tell it through talking or narration
Fury Road is just sheer and utter chaos from start to finish. Makes the Fast and Furious films look like Made in Chelsea.
What are you talking about?
+Cheif Pat Just giving an honest opinion. Made in Chelsea is a really bad reality TV show over here in England full of fake posh people who are so dim.
I hate the Chelsea football club too bro
Agreed
Lexington Deville84 Made in Chelsea reminds me of how shit British TV is these days

yeah when i saw this scene in the theaters it was on another level... i was like the next 2 hrs are going to be great!!
"From the creator of 'Babe', and 'Happy Feet' "
That's the best line ever
Which are both, in their own genres, also masterpieces lol
He doesn't miss 😂
All the vehicles you see in this are real and working, even the flamethrowing guitar works
I heard it actually has a bad sound to it thought it though, but who gives a damn because it's still freaking badass!
piplup2009 And that is how it should be! I'm so fucking tired of 90% of the movies these days being shot in front of a green screen with CGI garbage. +Dmitri Kozlowsky I gotta go to Mississippi and get me one of those. I'm a Tarheeler but they do the NASCAR thing, which I find kind of boring.
Thats a lie
I hate peolple who say shit they have no idea about
Setsuna F Seiei You do realise they used green screen in this film too you know. In the last scene where Joe and Nux were killed that was green screen I think. And that sandstorm was CGI too
You might be badass, but you'll never be "Playing a flame-throwing guitar on a gigantic truck" badass
The part where the war boy sacrifices himself has so much heart to it. In just a few seconds you understand everything about these characters (that the movie needs you to know). They truly feel like a Viking culture.
HE WAS SCANNING THE HORIZON!!!!
Felipe Delfino no i'm awaited....... I'M AWAITED IN VALHALLA!!!
Kendrick Martinez Oh fuck, c'mon!
Felipe Delfino "Canfacimus" is what he says which means "Fuck it all" i think
Felipe Delfino (Holds up steering wheel) "Immortan!"
Kendrick Martinez (After they reach the War Rig) "SHE'S OURS, SLIT!"
"My crush just looked at me!!!"--- "No dude... she was scanning the horizon"
Easily my favorite scene from the movie. Soon as a saw not only the dudes toughness and bravery, but also the comradery and dedication that the WarBoys had for each other and for the beliefs... I knew I was hooked.
miggizle85
Almost makes me sad that they lost. :~P
***** i got to know this first when watching deadliest warriors, it was viking and some xyz, and they tested this double spear effectiveness
yes ofcourse
miggizle85 yeah, you don't often see the bad guy's fodder in a movie show camaraderie and devotion to each other... Love it
miggizle85 What about the last one with the Polecats? :D
I think this movie depicts pretty accurately life in everyday Australia, good job!
And my wife wanted to see "Pitch Perfect 2"... Pfft... Please...
Tell your wife to kindly get the fuck outta here sir
Already did. :)
*[wife in the background] "What did you say?"*

Taylor Riley Was he awaited though?
nick highland That is for the great Immortan Joe to decide, but I believe he will ride eternal, shiny and crome! :)
Taylor Riley It would be even more impressive if he actually blew himself up.

I just love how this one dude has his own truck with the guitar so they can have just an epic soundtrack while they kill people… thats goals mate
The point of the guitar is to coordinate the war boys. The different sounds it plays is actually giving orders to the war boys.

Lol
This is real. so very real
Haha!!!
SENPAI NOTICED HIM
Yep.
The fact that they built all these vehicles and drove them, no CGI is absolutely awesome!!!
This movie had a $150 million budget
Avengers endgame had $356 million
You right
Fury road was nominated tô best oscars visual effects.
The battle is very real and awesome
There's quite a lot of CGI in this film actually. It's just very well done and carefully hidden
"THAT'S MY HEAD!!!!!!!"
If you notice at 1:26 that's the head gear of the gyro captain from Road Warrior.
I love it when he says “Confucamus!”
When you realize this movie was made by a bunch of people in their 60s and 70s
LOL!!
I guess George Miller and his team are badass grandpas & grandmas. Haha.
Not THAT one
When you're a fucking badass, you gotta show people how its done.
One funny thing:
George Miller also made Happy Feet.
Respect your elders kids
how was that mediocre? that was shiny and chrome as fuck!

I thought that a suicide leap with incendiary explosives onto a spikey car while you have just been shot in the head and upper chest with arrows was pretty impressive as well...
look closely and you'll se he stole Slits kill.

And he dies later in the movie and the only people who see it don't care. I think Max is more traumatised by seeing his car get wrecked for the third time.

You've got to wonder how Nux could even see straight with Max strapped to the front of his car...

0:25 That camera pan from the drums to the guitarist was legendary. So much build up to the first chase.
The more I watch these clips... As a guilty .. almost daily pleasure! The more Slit becomes one of my favourite characters ... Out of whole bunch of short lived , but interesting characters in this EPIC.
The flamethrower double neck guitar freak has to be one of the most badass things I have ever seen in my movie experiences.
I recently learned that scientists have actually managed to prove that the Coma Doof Warrior is the most badass thing humanly possible. Seriously.
These guys are like Kamikazes!!!!
***** who called them that?
***** the redheaded one?
MrKhalil9 That was kind of the idea.

this entire movie is just so visually pleasing
my biggest regret in life is not watching this in the movies because I thought it wouldn't be that good

Complete and utter madness that is utterly watchable by design and masterful execution.
I missed how the guy on the back of Nox's car throws another thunderstick at the same time as the guy jumps in with the two, so it was actually hit with three. That's awesome.
+Robert Riter This one gets it! See? Slit is on the team, he talks a lot of jive but his actions speak for him. "By my deeds I honor him" indeed!
Why does the scene from this film bring back memories?
The amount of coolness in this scene is too damn high!
Damn guys, is there now going to be a cult following of the Doof warrior?

Merry Christmas and a happy new year
Everytime I see this movie I am stunned. How the heck do you direct a film that well? Jeez.
Poor Morsov, dude got 2 arrows and made himself a suicide bomber and got called "Mediocre" hahahaha fuckin love it
Quite possibly the ORKIEST thing that came out of Hollywood.
I like the vehicle with the drummers and guitar guy.
the doof wagon. good choice
Slit cracks me up. He's such an ass.
RIP, Morsov.
He died historic, on the Fury Road.
Am I the only one who felt the War Boys were reminiscent of suicide bombers and the Immortan Joe was like a fundamentalist cult leader/warlord?
They where based on kamikauze ( I have no fucking clue how to spell it) pilots
+Jack Colby it's kamikaze without the letter U lmao
You mean Islam?
Fury Devil Islamic fundamentalism, yeah.
That was Miller's intention.
