Wonderfully different renditions of 3 great session tunes. The piano backing just blows me away. Hope you guys are planning another album.
I normally dislike what I call 'plinky plonk' piano accompaniment with fiddle but this is great - it just works. And of course Fergal's playing is faultless as usual. Great arrangement!
piano is f'ing gorgeous like broadway level ... and kind of martin hayes .... i think all celtic music needs to be slowed down. it's like in rock music having the guy in the music store just playing crazy twiddly fast. no substance. I know reels need to have a feel ... but this kind of music will be playing in my car on a trip. love this!!!
