I walked away to to “vomit “ but returned 6 months ago after walking unrighteousness. At a backyard dinner my associates began to deride GOD and religion. While I agreed about religion in my heart I could no longer hear them put down GOD and remain. I was convicted of my sin and turned back to GOD. I immediately went to my brother in law’s Church (he is a KJV Word of God worshipping, sin hating, separation preaching Man of God. I repented of my ways and returned to GOD. I credit your preaching which has and is helping and guiding me to getting rid of the Leaven in my life. After listening do you think God has forgiven me. I know this sounds like I’m calling God a liar, but you’re right. I fell away. I’m always troubled by this.
I don’t think I will ever make it without the Sunday school, being a single mom that I am, the church helped a lot in rooting into my children character. Now they’re grown to be an independent man , not perfect but thank God not hooked in drugs or anything. They heard advises from different people in the church. Church is a big big influence in their lives, I could have not done. It without the church and God.
Very convicting sermon, brother James. Reminds me how careless I've gotten over the years, esp. Avoiding even the appearance of evil, rationalizing that those appearances are trivial. God bless your ministry.
Oh my Brother James! Every time I see a Sermon heading that I think I will be able to comment on, when I hear it, I find out that You have handled it the exact way I would have, but much better! The LORD seems to guide you to the very root of the thing! Now popular religion says that either one of us is crazy, or it is the beginning of a cult! But don't worry, I still have my differences with you, such as defining public prayer, so it really means that we are following The same God! We are Praying for you alway as Scripture guides us to! 2.Tim. 2.3 The falling away was in greek 'apostasy' and it could be translated as go away /rapture/take off from one place to another.. Don't you think it is possible?

Don't fear Corona fear Godwell I can say this in Venice Beach over a hundred thousand people a day been visiting for the last 2 months not one person is sick and 87% of the people or will not wear masks even the people serve in food food so what's going on and even the people that I see everyday that I walk around with even the homeless people we get food to a water nobody sick so tell me what's going on with that picture while they're saying everybody sick here no one's sick believe in the Lord Jesus Christ 🙏❤️ news doesn't report that only the bad stuff 🙏

As for Jesus, for those who speak English, that is His Name. For those who speak Chinese, He is called 耶稣 - pronounced Yeshu. Too bad so many row over this not so complicated concept. As the scriptures were not written in English however, pronouncing HIS Name as the disciples pronounced it is NOT going against the Bible and NOT everyone who does so is being pretentious. Some actually pronounce the name in original form out of respect. John in the Bible is not pronounced John, and it would be quite respectful if folks didn't take on themselves to alter the names of others to suit their own notions. The name of our Savior has been translated as Jesus from Iesus from Ιησούς pronounced Iisoús from original name Yeshua. It's not so hard to pronounce Yeshua and it doesn't go against scripture in any way. It matters not that King James' translators made such decisions except that we rarely consider why this might have happened. I speak English and know HE knows of whom I'm referring when I speak to or of Him, but I do not judge others erroneously or assume what they are thinking if they should call Him Yeshua. We are to share the gospel and not all this petty stuff. There are people who cannot utter a sound and yet His name is written on their hearts in its true form. Jesus saves and doesn't bicker over silly stuff!
Yes, technically every word in translation replaces words in original text. Brother James is simply showing that it is not Biblically necessary to pronounce God's name in the original language, because we have a perfect translation in English. Have a great day!
