- I appeared, fleetingly, in an episode of Fools And Horses. It was the scene in the pub where Rodney and Del Boy attempted to pick me and my mate up. So imagine how excited I was to be invited to a reunion with some of those actors. My thanks to The Only Fools and Horses Appreciation Society.

What fun! The Buster Merryfield impersonator is spot on.
No 'e ain't e' is if anything a miles off even the most common phrase the famous "during the war" is so distorted when this half a try uncle Albert is having a go at it!

10 seconds in, and I can't go on before saying OH MY GOD! That was spooky as hell, I thought it must have been some old footage of Buster Merryfield! I just cannot get over that!

This was so lovely. Like being transported back in time. The guy who played boycie mentioned he had done many of these reunions before. Did you get invited to those too? To say Caroline and yourself havent seen each other for 37yrs and how pretty you both still look, all i can say is WOW!

Wow! Amazing! I'm a real fan of Only Fools. I have the entire box set and re watch them all the time. It's timeless and the best comedy out there. I've told you Jo previously that i instantly recognised you when watching your episode, so that's a compliment!! Brilliant vlog! Keep em cumin!! It's cushty!

Trigger appeared in the very first episode of OFAH, and Boycie was in the second episode. Denzil didn't appear until the third series (specifically , the episode called "WHO'S A PRETTY BOY?" which also featured the one and only appearance in the series of Denzil's wife, Corrine played by the late Eva Mottley ).
it was a great episode.ive watched it somany times and dont get bored of it

Such a shame so many of the cast are no longer with us. Great show but think they should have stopped when they became millionaires, that was the whole point to it!!

Hi Jo, I was ten when I watched Go West. When Del lost your number I really felt his pain. I don’t think I’d ever recover from that. That’s like winning the lottery then losing the ticket. I also fancied the pants off you even at ten. I still fancy you now actually x

Great vlog and how fantastic that you are part of Only Fools history! I did a double take when I saw Uncle Albert looking so well, as Buster Merryfield the actor who played him died in 1999! I met him when I was a producer on The British Comedy Awards the year before he passed (alas he had a fall as he walked up to the stage to collect an award), and he was a lovely old gent - I'm sure he'd be thrilled to be impersonated so accurately!
I honestly thought it was Buster who I worked with in his VERY first job!
He is an astonishingly good imposter! What was Buster's very first TV job Jo, I'm intrigued? Btw, I just wikipedia-ed him (!) and apparently all his life he refused to reveal his christian name, instead using the nickname Buster given to him by his grandfather, (because at birth he weighed 9lbs!) After his death, it was revealed for the first time he was named Harry after his Dad. Harry Merryfield is a great name, but it doesn't have the same wonderful ring as Buster Merryfield! Another fabulous vlog Jo - please keep 'em coming! X PS Matilda is ADORABLE!
Oh, and PPS - you didn't 'appear fleetingly' in Only Fools - you had a proper scene with its two leading men, none other than Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst, that's HUGE! I was just watching S01E02 and I paused it at the scene in the bar, just be before Rodney says he has never smoked astroturf. I was curious how old they both were in season 1 and ended up here, hopping from one link to another.
John Challis didn't actually appear in OFAH until the second episode, not the very first one as he said. It was "GO WEST, YOUNG MAN", the same episode the ladies were in !
Actually he did appear. He was the owner of the Jaguar that Del and Rodney were driving around in that night.
