‘Unacceptable’: AOC hits out at Secret Service director over report timeline

- US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has hit out at Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle over the “unacceptable” timeline of the investigation into Donald Trump’s assassination attempt.
Ms Cheatle confirmed during a House Oversight Committee meeting a report into the incident would be completed within 60 days.
“The notion of a report coming out in 60 days when the threat environment is so high in the United States, irrespective of party, is not acceptable,” Ms Ocasio-Cortez said.
Trump needs to hire his own security team, this government is not safe for him

AOC was right to call this out, it's unacceptable. But it wasn't 200 yrds. It was 120-140 yrds. Also the AR-15 is not the most commonly used firearm in mass shootings. But i applaud the effort if not informed. I'd happily show AOC how the weapon works. Teach her about MOA and all the BASIC stuff.

The perimeter was 130-150 yards two weeks ago, now becomes 200 yards, according to her. Let it be known that the secret service drew the perimeter NOT CIRCULAR but like PACKMAN, in order to exclude that very building ⁉️⁉️⁉️
If that building had been inside the perimeter , then we would have secured it. So therefore, we kept the building outside of the perimeter.

That was a good question. “Why was the outdoor security coverage perimeter shorter than the range of the most commonly used semiautomatic rifle in America.” Cheatle’s answer is basically saying that secret service has decided that there’s no way someone would attempt an assassination on the most controversial figure using the most commonly used rifle within the most targetable range.
