Kansas City had more trouble with Houston in this series than they did with the Blue Jays or Mets in the next two rounds. They trailed by 2 or more runs in all five games against the Astros.
Despite the Royals playing phenomenally well that season, the Astros beat them repeatedly. Going into this, they were only team I was actually worried about. After they won game 5, I knew they'd take the whole thing.
@@toxicelec5960 Those people are looking for any way to feel better about their team by dragging another down. Dragging others down, to many folks, is just as good as winning... and it requires a lot less effort. Thats kinda the trend for adversaries lately, in sports and many other things.
Vividly remember screaming in my car while driving home when Hosmer hit the decisive HR late in game 4. Those were an amazing couple of years as a KC fan.
In baseball, you believe in the game & the players that play by their love & their oath, heart & soul, to baseball. The astros forgot about winning by heart & soul. They though that they should have won against the Royals. But The Royals were the team of the Talent, the Soul & Heart! After 2015, they chose to win beyond their own beliefs in baseball & themselves. They crossed a line. I found it difficult, because
In this series the Astros flat-out out-played the Royals but the Royals were a far better team and the better team should advance in a perfect world. It may sound cheesy, but I do believe sometimes things are destined to be as if the "baseball gods" make it so. Nothing rigged- just something almost fated to be so. If you are a Toronto fan the 7th inning of game 5 the 2015 Texas series is fine example. I felt that way watching the White Sox in 2005 and Red Sox in 2004. The Royals didn't get lucky, they were the better team and deserved to win. I am saying they had some very fortuitous things go their way in this series and a good team doesn't waste any opportunity. The Astros were playing with "house money" in 2015. They really had no business being there and should not have performed as well as they did. I was glad to see they went on to win it all. The city and team deserved it.
This was a hell of a series

So is this your moment when you acknowledge that the astros, after 2015, choose to win with other alternatives.
@@kawilson6628 A lot of people actually believe they were cheating in this postseason as well lmao. That would make our victory feel even better tbh

Needs more trashcan.
Are you trying to say the Astros were a bad team here or something? they made it to the postseason.

what happens? you go to 6 striaght ALCS's, 4 world series and win 2 of em?
They gave the best fight to the team that won the World Series and could have easily won the series too but you’re just another hater of the dynasty
Ah bliss no cheating, and Matt Vasgersian
Vasgersian is overrated.

The good old days when the Astros didn't cheat.
If hosmer got Evan Gattis out, this would have been a no hitter
after this series choke job the astros vowed to not let it happen again by cheating

5:05 why didn’t Correa throw the ball
These Astros were good but what if they were cheating here too . 😂

When you watch the disappointment on their faces in Game 4. I'm convinced the Royals is the reason they decided they had to start cheating LOL
