Outside of Estrada in the 7-1 game against KC, the Jays pitching was garbage lmao. I think if they pitched to their potential, the Jays win the WS that year. And leaving Price in past the 7th inning was baffling

not to knock the Royals in any way (Thankful they beat the Mets in the World Series) even tho they were a one hit wonder, this team was very special, they weren't flashy but they kept finding ways to win and at the end of the day that's all that mattered. They also gave me hope for my Cubs because after they lost game 7 the previous year, they took the longest road possible to win it all! Cubs lost in 2015 but we took that similar path in 2016 to win!

    • @BaseballRoscoe25

@@bstanford5517 they only made the playoffs twice since 1986 and they have made the most of them, I would have loved to see the Cubs face the Royals in 2015, Royals would have had the slight edge, also they had our secret weapon in 2015

The Blue Jays would have likely won the world series if it wasn't for the Royals bullpen that kept the game tied or scoreless and hard for the Jays to break it out like they did against the Rangers

What a great series, its such a shame that the Royals beat the Jays, it was too good to end in 6. Game 7 would have likely been Johnny Cueto and Marcus Stroman again for all the marbles. This was as good as it got right there.

Game 3 showed what opposing teams had to do to beat the Royals that postseason. Jump the Royals' starter for a crooked number, get a good 7+ innings from yours, and the Royals bats don't have enough time to come back against your relievers even if they fire. That held true over all 16 games the 2015 Royals played.
