@@donttalkcrap It can be done without turning. The reason I watched the video is so that I could show others how to do it. I did it without turning so they could see clearly how it was done. And BTW I used my whole brain. Perhaps if you had the other half of yours you could do it too.

"make it easier" - Origami isn't meant to be 'easy', it's the ART of paper folding
"too hard! can't do it!" - it's not that hard if you can follow basic instruction.
"too fast! can't follow!" - is this your first time on YT? you can change the playback settings
sheesh. this tutorial was super easy but they did forget to put in [4. Patience} in "Things you'll need"
Was your first experience folding origami following a RUclips video?
It's a lot easier when there's someone irl showing you. I remember I could make all sorts of things if my dad showed me how, but then I tryed following a origami book I just did not get it. Later I also remember my first time following an origami RUclips tutorial and being really confused.
So I sympathizes with people trying out origami even if its hard.
@@ArtIsHuman tbh I sympathize with you more.. Origami books ARE hard to follow and I’ve had quite a few in my life.
At least with a video tutorial you can pause, slow it down and play back over and over until you get it right. You can literally watch the person’s hands in motion and follow if you have enough patience. People always expect to be able to get it right the first time every time because they think that origami is equivalent to arts and crafts when in actuality it’s more like math.
This was really easy and fun to to do although I would suggest slowing the tutorial down a bit to make it easier not to miss a step

Here's a longer but better video. Even so, don't try to get ahead of him. When he's flipping the pages you have to do it in the exact order he does or you'll screw it up. And make sure you're not picking up more than one page at a time. Had to start over a couple of times.
