I always enjoy your videos, and the birds singing in the background add to the enjoyment. Birdsong is the sweetest music!
Your art makes me want to write a story about the family living in this house. Thanks for the escape and for the instruction!
Thanks a bunch.

Fabulous painting! This is the second video I’ve watched of yours, I’m thinking the bird must be in the house since i could hear it again.😢😢😢

What fun. All you need is a cat staring up at the birdhouse.
Thank you.
Awesome!
Thanks Dan.
Your paintings always bring a smile to my face and this one is no exception, another beauty. Thank you.
thanks so much.
merci beaucoup pour la vidéo de cette jolie petite maison et toutes vos explications
Merci beaucoup!
Curious about your technique here. What is the reason for starting with some wash and then using ink then more wash rather than inking in the outline and then doing the wash which is what I would normally do?
Hi Peter. I sometimes wash first to get the most out of the paint... not be restricted by the hard lines and not feel like I'm painting in a coloring book.
@@garyfrederick8419 Thanks for the reply. Interesting point about the colouring book. I shall take that on board and be a bit more radical! All the best.
What kind of pen do you use?
Lamy Safari XF nib
@@garyfrederick8419 Thank you. As soon as a typed the question, you mentioned it in the video, like we were live on Zoom. LOL Thank you. This response is pretty fast, too.
