Have you considered getting your dog a thunder vest? It’s a weighted vest that they can wear during storms and it’s supposed to help calm them. A weighted blanket can also help. I have cats and usually they do okay with storms but we have been having hail and tornados lately so they’re extra freaked out. I also read four books in May and I’m a fast-ish reader. I love your journal- so clean and pretty. I really need to sit down and try and work on mine.

those rainy shots are beautiful 🤍 funnily enough i'm not braver than an animal when it comes to thunder and fireworks, i'm sensitive to noises in general and those scare me 🙈 editing takes me foreeeeever honestly, i don't know if it's me, if i'm doing it wrong but it can take me 2 days sometimes to edit and program a video with writing the text, adding all the links and creating the thumbnail 🫠 OMGGGG you made a page for my bookclubs 🥹🤍🤍🤍 i loved watching your book haul and read books of the year so far 😍 i don't dnf i'll either put that aside for another time to read if i'm not in the mood for it or i'll unhaul it if i don't want to read it anymore but if i start the book i will always finish it 🙈 it's so soothing to watch you annotate books 🫶

My dog is terrified of fireworks, but strangely not afraid of thunder. Where our town does fireworks displays is only a few blocks away from us, so I suspect that is why. I snuggle her and show her extra love when she is afraid. She won’t settle though until the fireworks are over.
It’s the same for mine, cuddling won’t help her in that moment (nothing does). 🫣 She just wants to hide in the bathroom or the toilet, and I‘ve spent several New Years Eves with her in the bathroom watching movies on my laptop… 😅 Good to hear, that your dog doesn‘t react to thunder! oh!!! german is your first language!! amazing!!!!, I was staying in Heidelberg last year and saw a lot of beautiful historical novels, but I couldn´t find them in English or Spanish, (Spanish is my first language), and my German wasn´t good enough to try to read them, actually it is not good enough yet 😅, and I had returned to my country. The only one I could find in Spanish was one from Lin Rina (Animant Crumbs Staubchronik), I loved it!!!!!
