You got to meet the legend that is "Robot" greeting Vespa Motorsports from the UK all you need to do is get somebody to throw a leg over a Vespa and take it for a spin and they'll be sold !!! It's the bike you didn't know you wanted until you really really wanted it after your first ride. Love my 300 gts ......as much if not more than my GS 1250 BMW. The Vespa always and I mean always put a huge smile on your face
Been watching the legend, Robot videos for a few years, in fact before I bought a primavera in 2016 here in the UK, had 8000 miles when I got it. Now it's been put away for some TLC as it's at 42000 miles. Thinking of swapping the 11 inch wheels for the sprint 12 inch wheels, think it should be a straight swap, it's getting hard to buy 11 inch tyres. When I phone to get tyres I sometimes get, no such thing as 11 inch tyres!
Thanks to COVID my wife and I came by the store on a Sunday and a Monday afternoon. Ready for the tour with the famous Radar and a autograph. I guess also to buying a couple of Vespas. Maybe next year. We did look in the window so the hand prints are from us. We really like the blue 150 with the chrome by the way that is not on your page. We from Montana so really sorry we missed you. Have a great year see you next time.
Nice video, thanks! It’s indeed called the Piaggio Ape. You can still buy new ones. It is Italian for Bee and very fitting. Bc where Vespa’s were all about style, the Ape was all about making money for you. A worker. Just as little workerbees in the narrow streets of Italian cities and villages.
I love Vespas...I was going to get a 2020 GTS 300 but have now decided on getting the BV350 instead...not as classic looking but...faster, more power, more stability with the larger wheels , cheaper price and a crazy maintaniance schedule (every 6000 miles !)....hoping I made the right choice. Vespa Motorsport...great to deal with . Ive bought many parts through them for my previous Vespas.
Hey Robot, have a question for you I've had motorcycle's my whole life and am 66 yrs and looking at the Vespa but want something that I could ride out on Highway if I had to can u please help me to the right model I should be looking at and explain why, Thank you, Donnie
The 2020 GTS 300 HPE will work, as will the Piaggio BV350. Both have the horsepower to get the job done. The BV, more so. Good luck and I hope you subscribe to this channel!
@@trippontwowheels thank you for getting back to me so soon , if I go with the BV350 , are there yrs to stay away from. Thank you again for your help. Watched alot of your video's, wish we lived closer together, for sure you would have my business. Thanks Donnie
Get an ABS model, stay away from 2013 cause they have coolant issues. Mine did and I had VMS fix it, I since sold it and bought a newer model cause I love having the BV350.
I read online a 50cc don't need a driver's license to ride it long as it's street legal not sure if that's true for california if so I'm looking to get one I found one for $819 online anything higher is just to much
It depends where you are. The laws are set by each state. In Texas you now need a license for any CC engine. Not sure about other states or countries. I'd be sure and check first. Thanks for your comment Brandon, I hope you subscribe. -Tripp

“Ape” is Italian for “bee,” a complement to Vespa/wasp. (And an apiary in English is a colony of bees, not monkeys.)
Good to know! Thanks for your comment tenders, I hope you subscribe. -Tripp

Great video. I had no idea the place was that big.
They've got to keep those eleventy-billion spare parts somewhere!
Tripp, how did I miss this video? Thanks RUclips.
That's quite the facility!
Most impressive scooter/motorcycle place I've ever been to that's for sure.
