As someone who grew up in Florida, running the beach and fishing this song reminds me of my childhood. I recently lost my cousin, who was more like a sister (we grew up side by side) and as I was driving to her grave to put flowers I was crying so hard and begging for this to be a dream… THIS song came on my playlist and it felt like SHE WAS SPEAKING TO ME through this song. Today marks the unofficial last day of the summer before the kids go back to school.
At the start of this summer...I was with someone who opened me up to new things and had an abundant personality. We'd lay at the beach our first date. Summer breeze-kissed lips and parched sand-riddled blankets being in the sun all day. I've never had anything like that.
Then one day she was gone. We used to listen to this song on repeat in the car. And since then it's become almost unbearable to hear even when it did come up on shuffle.
Today was the first time listening all the way through since then. I made it through without getting overly...yeah.
Some people come into your life like a breeze and you're meant to either learn what you like or what you don't like from each experience: good or for worse.
Songs themselves always seem to find a way to nestle deep into our hearts saying the things we wish we could say to those in the time we have to say. Without knowing how much time is left.

Found out about Jaco Costa Rica the same time I found this song. I knew Iration but the intertwining of the timing of both hold a dear place now in my heart and I'm proud to say I will be going there in the near future. This will be the song I listen to first when I watch the sunset on the beach.
I miss the early days of iration. I saw them play with rebelution on reggae Tuesday at the sandbar on state st... at that time I knew then both bands were going to blow up the scene. I would dance the night away with all the lady’s they stuffed in such a small club.🙏

How on earth did this song come out approximately 4 years ago and I'm only hearing it now??? I'm from hawaii, so I like all types of Hawaiian, reggae, roots type of beat and iration is the one band that never produces a shitty song. The lead singer has an amazing voice, I'm glad I came across of Iration.. even more glad knowing I can vibe to the music. What they produce is insanely good, it's to the point where I feel they are underrated... Ik Bob Marley did his thing, but man... Iration be top notch

Oi, my brother has a playlist composing Iration, Iya Terra, Stick Figure, and a lot of others, I never really got into reggae (if you can even call those composers reggae artists, because this music isn't really classic reggae, is it?) but the playlist entirely changed my opinions, and now i'm addicted. It's given me a new point of view, here in Florida. We just got a direct hit from Hurricane Michael, well, almost, we live 16 miles from Mexico Beach. Rebuilding a fence for a neighbor after the hurricane, this song played in the playlist and that's when I first heard it. My brothers were basically stereotypical beach bums. Never good at school, spent every other day at the beach. They both work on the water now, one as a dolphin snorkel tour captain, the other driving beach boats. They're both really good brothers.
