What he said about setting up schools is so key. We need schools that teach facts and gets students to know how to think critically. The students need to have an understanding of their God-given gifts so they can flourish instead of being in boring dead-end jobs.

Yes his knowledge and wisdom may seem unreal. But you know what? Its very real. He is the outcome of his own very deliberate objective, struggle and self determination. He tells us this, in the humble and open way he presents himself. A young man, full of directed intellect and energy, a fine example for those of us who who feel undervalued, missed out, misunderstood, mislead, angry. Akala epitomizes the old adage, 'knowledge is power.' A great example for young and old. Thank you for your example and inspiration Akala.😊💜💛😂.

i wonder if he would ever date a indian woman. i mean if an indian woman only dates indian men and not black, she is accused by black men as racist, so if he only dates his white/black race he is racist too. just like the women black men accuse.
THANK YOU EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING....too many people push for achieving wealth when it's not what they truly want they just are programmed to believe that and when they achieve it they realise they are not happy
The bit about a racial specific solution is so true. When Trevor Philips went to Chicago about 15 years ago to interview a group of African American men about their organisation in a mainstream school to educate the male children separately and suggested the same thing be adopted here in Britain with young black boys, the white population were up in arms about it. They saw it as the boys getting special treatment above their white boys. It made national news and was aired on one of those morning programmes. Now I'm hearing a lot of criticism from white people who say that we need to sort out our problem (which is what Trevor Philips suggested) and a general indifference for what is taking place. We cannot afford to sit and wait for white people's approval, we know what is needed and we should be prepared to act on it in the face of their criticism. I will also say that it's a struggle with some of our own who only care about their individual self and in some cases fight against the good that some are doing or simply just not giving their support.

Malcolm x...!! X was used by Islam. Read history...what has islam done for Africa!! Islam invaded Africa 800 years before Europeans got there. Islam has enslaved 100 million + Africans..raped ..killed etc. Since the 8th century...& to think Malcolm X pushed Islam on African Americans!! In the Koran there is even a derogatory word for Africans. Malcolm x was right on many things...but Islam..sorry No. X was a puppet !!
If he has been influenced by the likes of Malcolm and others, that is a good thing. The torch must be handed down to every generation until we finally get it. Until then the struggle continues.
The simple solution, would be for him and the organisations he criticises, to stop playing identity politics and concentrate on the individual. The individual is sovereign.

How is this man African? He is definitely mixed race. What is wrong with people? Always looking for people to represent them, despite NOT representing us. He is doesn't rep me at all. He talks about Black this & Black that. Whatever. I don't care for Black. I'm AFRICAN & I refuse to sell my self out to Black culture that has shame to call ourselves AFRICAN.
