- Looking at the classic, original Soviet era Lomo-LCA. How to fix 'sticky shutter' and some examples of black and white photographs taken on the LC-A on Fomapan Classic 100asa film and developed by myself.
I want to thank you SO much!! After resolving that i just may have to take apart the Lomo LCA (2nd production run) i bought recently to fix the "sticky shutter", i looked again at the battery terminals, because i got the unit with leaking batteries which the previous owner never took out before storing it. Followed your advice and it is working beautifully, got 38 exposures from my last roll. So glad i found this channel 👏👌
Just wanted to say thank you. I was so sure my lca needed a surgery to clean the shutter blade until I saw your video. After a thorough rubbing of autosol, it now works

Ditto, see my post above. This saved me from dismantling the whole thing, after which it may not have worked anyway. Am so happy mine works now, love this camera.

Another really informative video thanks, I was recently given an Olympus OM10 with a 50mm lens with the same problem, battery terminals. It works a treat now. Would love to see your developing process, I'm in two minds as to going down that line, at the moment I shoot B/W film that can be processed in a normal high street shop, Ilford XP2 400 but like you say its not cheap.Great shots btw nice little camera, keep them coming :) Tim

Thanks for video! Maybe You could help me with another problem. My lomo is working good except for my second LED no lighting up when underexposed. The LED is operational but it dont get current as i halfpress the shutter. Again thank You for your knowledge.
Can't really help I'm afraid. I had an LCA which had a similar issue but it didn't appear to affect the the final image.
