really liked the holt howard big mustache guy salt and peppers by the green epic drape glass, the framed moths or butterflies, the clock and the little scotty on the next shelf over, the chunky squirrel shakers underneath that, and the hand painted yellow floral shakers the next shelf over, great things...oh and the old toy cars both colors were awesome...
Those button jars likely didn’t have anything of value. I inherited a large quantity of buttons from my great aunt, who was a seamstress all of her adult life. I found out later that an aunt had an antique dealer look through them, and he removed any he thought might have value before they came to me. I’ve used a lot of them over the last 30+ years, but they don’t really have any monetary value to speak of. The Snowbunnies are so cute! I used to have a whole bunch of them, but when we moved eight years ago, I was brutal in my downsizing, and gave them all away. If I had known I’d be selling on eBay in just a few short years, there’s a LOT I would have kept and sold online. 🤷♀️ Oh, well. Hopefully the money they made went to a good cause.
The double handle Fostoria American trophy bowl caught my eye. My brother is a big collector and there is good value in the American line depending on the piece, regardless if it's clear glass. Great video as always!
I just bought a Snowbunny the other day, the one with the basket of chicks. I'm gonna give it to my Aunt for her April Birthday. They make great gifts. 🐇🐤
I screamed out loud and woke my husband when I saw an apple blossom piece of Roseville in the green color. It was only 45.00 which is a steal. This is the Roseville that I collect. Please keep this in your memory bank.(LOL) I wonder if you know if Theresa ships? So many cute things at that mall.
The yellow canary was my favorite. My mom used to have a canary, Charlie, who was more orange than yellow. He was named after my brother's friend who had red hair! Btw, at 4:05 those are the tops of Corinthian columns, carved wood most likely. They're beautiful!
The Rio Hondo bunnies were too cute. The paper mache? bunnies were cute too. Loved the dove porcelain covered box. So elegant. Too bad about the Rumplestiltskin book being colored in. Love those little books. The green handkerchief bowl was pretty too. I've been selling a lot of green stuff out of my booths, lately.
My hair is super long, and I have yet to find an antique or vintage hair receiver that truly speaks to me. I’m not sure what style or design I’m into exactly. I’ll know it, when I see it! I do know that many hair receivers labeled as vintage or antique are, in actuality, attractive repros. Hard for me to tell what’s what, since hair receivers aren’t my forte. Any tips and tricks on what to look for are greatly appreciated! Cool channel, by the way!👍🏻 P.S. I would have snatched up that soft toy poodle for my vintage doll collection!🐩
What exactly isa hair receiver? Why would anyone put their hair in there? I have longish hair and I always come away with a good amount of hair in my brush. Can you explain to me please? This might be something I’d be interested in. Thank you.😊

I know where at two different angles, but I would have snapped up both pieces. Yes, chips lower the price but they also tell the story of their being used. I had never thought of contacting your highlighted locations and see if they still had a piece and could they send it. 🤔🤔
Saw one of my booths in the background 😃 the snowbunnies are so cute ❤
Really? what booth is yours?
Loved the Rio Hondo bunnies, the clear bowl too. i sell snow bunnies around Christmas.

I enjoyed the video. The salt/pepper bunnies - so cute. Do you ever run across vintage powder/powder puff holders?
For some reason when I see a pair or group of animals I don't take just one because I dont want the rest to be lonely on the shelf 😅
You should start repairing chips on pottery because I think that matte finish 18:00 wouldn't be difficult with the right color.
I have always loved snow bunnies. So darn cute
The only thing that poodle reminds me of is the movie “Pet Cemetery”😳 The two brown bunnies and yellow canary were my favorite picks😊

You left the yellow bird behind.😮
OMGOSH...totally didn't realize it until i edited the video and was like...wait a minute
@The.Cult.Of.Vintage We've all said, "I'll come back to it," or "I'll think about it" and forgotten about it. It happens.

The Snow bunnies we=e darling. The Art Deco candy was special
too funny! love the haul, Michael!
The snow babies are adorable and the faces are so well executed well painted.
Loved the hair receivers. Those column bases would have come home with me! They would be great for flower arrangements
That was a hard one to let go of! lol
I don't believe they were bases but more like capitals?
