I’ve been struggling with anxiety since I was a teenager. A few years ago I started having panic attacks. I haven’t had one in a while. A week ago I had a bad one at work. Since then I’ve struggled, did everything I could to work through it. Last sunday my pastor preached on God being the TRUTH and that the devil is a liar. I’ve tried to hard to focus and believe on that. I’ve had my ups and downs. It’s been a draining week. Today it became too much. I felt like I couldn’t breathe and I started to feel as if I was going to pass out. I asked my mom if she could drive me to the emergency room. Driving down the road, the radio was playing. She turned it down and prayed with me. After the prayer she turned the radio back up and the second she did this song started playing...as if she pressed play or something. I heard these words and I knew God was speaking to me through it. The whole song was meant for me to hear at that moment. So touched by God reaching out and comforting me. So thankful that the writer and singer of this song allowed himself to be used by God and used his/her/their talents to create it. God Bless.

Decades of depression and anxiety ruled my life. It destroyed my relationships. Everything was so hard. I was on the verge of losing everything.
I wanted to end it all. I wanted to take myself out. I wanted it all to end so badly that I prayed for the first time in my life. I collapsed under the weight of my life in my basement and let loose. I cried and I begged for God to take me. I prayed for God to kill me because I wasn't strong enough to do it myself.
I didn't die that day. Nothing happened on that day. I pulled myself together and finished what I had to do, like I always do. At least, I thought nothing happened.
Not too long after that I suddenly felt inspired to try fasting. I was overweight and thought that if I felt better about myself it would help me overcome.
24 hours is what I committed myself to. Baby steps. 12 hours in I was outside and I felt it. It was a rush of positivity, love, acceptance and happiness. I suddenly felt like I was a kid whose father was telling him how proud he is of him. It was overwhelming.
My mind knew immediately where that positivity came from. I knew that Jesus was answering my prayers, just not in the way I wanted him to. That 24 hour fast turned into 48 hours. And I still fast even now.
God was telling me I was on the right track. Finally. Since then, my depression is gone. My anxiety is nonexistent. He saved me. I'll never be able to fully repay Him for that but I'll do my best. I owe Him everything.

To whoever is reading this you’re not reading it on accident! God has set a path for you but he’s preparing you right now, it’s your choice either you go that path or not! God is coming back, and he is coming back real soon! God is leading you somewhere. No matter what’s going on in your life, everything is the way it is for a reason. Have faith in his plan and it leads to great victory! God is bigger than your past, your depression, your pain, your hate, your anger, your doubt, your fear, your shame, your anxiety, your scars, this word! He has a great plan for you, you are very very very loved by him. You’re very blessed. And you are fearfully and wonderfully made. If you ever have anything that’s going on and your scared or think u can’t do smth say this over and over “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me” he has helped me through many many things and he can help you too! I'm a registered nurse in emergency medicine. The past 2 years have brought me to my knees, literally. This pandemic made me realize that for some of the people that we trust the most, money is more important than the sanctity of a human life. I prayed faithfully for guidance & to find MY place amongst all this tragedy, sickness, & death. The more I prayed, the louder my voice became. That voice was & still is in the form of being an advocate for patients & speaking out against wrongdoings in the medical field. I've struggled everyday with having to choose between sitting quietly so that as a single mom I'm able to keep my job & provide for my daughter or being the voice of those who have lost theirs. By the grace of God, I've remained steadfast in the latter. When you get out of your comfort zone & remain faithful & courageous, God allows you to look fear right in the face & say "fear, you're a liar!" ❤👑✝️☦
My goodness, being in the ER trauma level 1 is the worst … the things and all theDeath and trauma and drama in the ER , it’s not good for mental health. And when you give the DNR paper to the family because the chances of survival is slim . And some people just go there because they are homeless that just want a sandwich. God bless us all

I really love this song. I've battled with anxiety since I was 4 years old. I've struggled with so many self esteem issues and I never stood up for myself. I also lost my mom a year ago, and she believed in God. I lost my faith but I understand now why she believed. She believed so she could go on. My mom dealt with so many horrible things but she was a great mom. And I believe her faith made her stronger. I miss you mom.

Your mom sounds like she was a wonderful, strong lady. I don’t want to cause you any hurt or offense, because I was a nonbeliever for a long time and I know many believers come across sounding naive or even condescending… but I truly believe with all of my heart the first words she heard on the other side were, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” as she leapt into the open, awaiting arms of Jesus. I believe she and all the family of God have eternal life beyond this one, free of the pain we feel so keenly here.

I just had something amazing happen to me. I was tempted to fall again into sexual sin (m) and I thought of these lyrics. I found this song and played it. It felt like evil was leaving me. I never felt anything like that before. I started crying leave me to evil and I felt like God was right there. I fell to the ground crying and asking for forgiveness for all the times I gave into this sin. I'm shaking rn. Today before this I had asked two of my closest friends to pray for me about this and so did I. I didn't give in today and I hope I never do again.

Dynafat2008 umm...fear is Satan. Listen to the words. Satan is full of lies. Satan makes you think those ugly thoughts. He laughs at you when you get in those bad times listed in this song. Satan is fear. The Bible does say don't fear Satan but this is a completely different case. The song is about Satan being the one who is making us fear. And God telling us that fear is a liar and don't listen to him.

I struggle with severe anxiety too, and sometimes it feels like I just can’t keep up anymore. Then this song makes it’s way to me (thank you, God!) when I need it most. A friend shared it with me again today and it’s touching me differently than usual. Don’t give up, friends. Jesus has us!
I struggle with the FEAR of not being ever good enough. So the first verse already hit hard for me. The fear is indeed robbing me of my happiness, the anxiety of it keeps me up at night. I feel anxiety all the time it's something I've lived with my whole life and it turned me into someone that I wasn't. I didn't know how to let that go. It made me almost disabled and it robbed me of my happiness and for who I really was. I pray that God can give me the strength and hopefully it will leave my life.

Everytime i feel like i cant take it anymore i think of this song and it gives me the strength to keep moving. I have been struggling with depression, anxiety and just fear. If you are reading this and need some help, or even a little motivation or advice to keep going.. My arms are open and so is my heart. If you are having issues that you feel like nobody understands.. God does, He understands. He gives you these problems and situations you may not be able to get through without his help or someone elses help. He does this to draw you close to him and his caring and loving arms. Believe it or not but he loves you more than anyone can. And dont ever feel like your not loved because you are, by many people it just may not seem like it but you are. Dont be scared to stand for the fact that you love Jesus, I do understand that it may be a situation where you cant exactly do that. But dont let fear control your life, let God control it.. This song is what made me who I am today. A strong, independent, compassionate, loving, forgiving. It taught me to be myself and to trust in God. You may be going through a difficult time but God is the answer to your struggle. My sister bullied me everyday and almost committed suicide. My cousin hung himself and died. God is still good. I am believing in earnest today that Fear is a liar! My brother is battling brain cancer for the 2nd time after 8 years of remission. He has a wife and 3 boys that need him. Fear has been lying to me since the MRI revealed that the cancer had returned. He will have surgery tomorrow followed by months of chemo and radiation. I needed this ever since this pandemic started I've been afraid and having bad thoughts and I've had the worst anxiety I've had ever and it's been really hard for me to feel safe anymore but I know that I have faith and I put time into learning about God and I have a relationship with God I've been feeling safer and more secured I haven't fully gotten rid of the bad thoughts and anxieties I have but I'm getting somewhere and I'm so glad I have God by my side to help me through these tough times.
My baby brother died. It was heart breaking and hard to carry the pain and sadness. I would ask god why HE would let it happen. He said that he does it for reasons. I was upset and I just kept crying asking that WHY over and over. I’ve been scared to just let god take over cause I thought if I was to have another baby sibling he would take that one away as well. Then god just came to me and said DO NOT BE AFRAID. It helped me now that god has my brother safe and sound and that one day I will be able to see him again
