Eddie Peabody - He was short, odd-looking, and had a speech defect; yet during the Jazz Age he was a ROCK STAR!! Absolutely worshiped. Here you can see why. His command of these instruments is phenomenal (especially that "Blue Skies" bit). Watch this to see GREATNESS!
The first time I saw Eddie Peabody was on a TCM classic movie short where he took a big jazz box guitar and shredded so hard on it, it put Eddie Van Halen & Yngwie to shame.

Eddie Lang, and Eddie Peabody are the 1920s 1930s era American plectrum kings of strings. The 1/2 scale violin is a crack up.
idk why but the way they can just instantly whip out an instrument from god knows where and start playing is hilarious to me in an surrealist way
Wonderful...!!
Maravilloso...!!👍👌👏👏👏
an absolute gem.
That's great fun :-) I thank You for Your sharing and Richard Graham for his comment !

Qui peut me dire le titre du morceau qui commence à 5’40 ? Merci
1929? MCMXXXVIII is 1938.
typo on the film’s part, no band was playing like that by 1938.
