You don't have to go through the lift. There's another way around. It's a hike but it's worth it especially if you like getting loot and appreciating the scenery. Trust me it's worth it.

Theres a ravine next to the bridge that leads to the lift of the capital and there will be a grace by a ladder and you will have to climb it and at the top theres a boss fight before you get to the capital

@@aryasipes1711 From the far northeastern reaches of the Liurnia lake, east of Caria Manor where Ranni is, there's a ravine you can follow. Go through there until you see a bonfire/grace on the right side. From there, begin climbing.
Bring a spear, because there's tons of flying foes on the way up. Winged naginata and a greatshield makes the route a lot easier.
Excellent stuff, straight to the point with no arsing about and unnecessary commentary. You saved my sanity trying to find this bloody place and the nearby map piece. Cheers!

I just found out that if you go into the ruins right after reaching altus platu and running past the dragon, the lady that you help get her necklance from a thief in liurnia of the lakes will be right at the beginning and offer to teleport you right into vulcano manor. I think that's the fastest way yet.

The amazing thing about this is that JUST going from the entrance of Altus Plateau to here in basically a straight line, there are no less than a DOZEN events to take part in if you so choose.
Yeah... 12 bosses that have already been used in the game. Honestly there may be a lot of stuff, but so much of it is just reused filler.

@@jjstraka1982 it was bad then too, but atleast it wasn't 7 separate encounters masquerading as bosses when they become normal mobs in DS1

@@SWatchik I may be late to the conversation but tbh there's not a whole lot of huge content games that don't do this botw has you fight the blights twice and even more as optional bosses which alot of these enemies are, moving away from open world pokemon has repeat after repeat all the time it's not the worst part of this game by far. Imo it doesn't bother me at all I feel accomplished cuz although they do more damage I prove I've learned my lesson after the first few times fighting em and now I can molly wop them
you're a god ! I've even killed the boss on the top of that hill and i was so lost, spent another hour and a half looking for the entrance, pretty sure I completed everything in the surroundings of volcano manor haha 😂

I had to divert to the ride to Volcano Manor when NPC Rya failed to show up in a pre-determined spot, where she was supposed to teleport me to the manor. Regardless, got here via your excellent guidance. Kudos.

You don't have to activate the lift to get to the altus plateau, in the valley below there is a ladder that leads to a cave and up the side of the mountain for an alternate path.

@@6AMRisper there is a ravine located in between Caria manor and the grand lift,entering the ravine you will find a ladder,climb it and the other two ladders and you will find the cave .In the end there is a bossfight btw
yeah I just found that out yesterday and I found soooo much treasure going that way. and you fight 2 pretty simple bosses and get a nice amount of runes from them

Honestly did by accident, I think I killed it first try.
He's actually super slow and I just ended up running around the giant pillar in the middle baiting him to slash down to jump attack him.
Hi everyone, I tell you a faster way to go. If you do the "pendant mission", which is in the swamp so you know, which gives you the invitation letter to the volcano Manor, it is much faster because that npc will take you to the manor. At minute 0:47 if you go to the ruins near the golden tree there will be that npc again and he will invite you to go to the mansion.

I cant see the npc, which part of the lux ruins specifically? I have the volcano manor invitation
@@amronz8652 just search in the Lux ruins it took me a while to find her but she’s definitely there like in the middle I think
@@amronz8652 Actually for me she wasn't in the ruins, she was just at the exit of the huge stone lift in the South (activated by a medallion)
I spent 2 hours searching for this lol. Was even up in that area with the the big black monster on the very top. Thanks for the video…

So glad I decided to go for the Bull Goat set even more now, I just got both of the Decius Medallions didn’t explore this part of the map yet. Running past all these bosses and enemies to get here made me get a good idea of the maps layout. Already put down markers on all the bosses I passed.
You don’t need to have the lift to get there. There’s a secret cave outside of the area where it takes u up but it’s pretty dangerous and need to be high level. And there’s a boss at the end. After the boss you can go to atlas.
The other two ways are not worth the trouble when you can get both pieces in under ten minutes, with less effort to boot.
Edit: if you have Caelid Explored, that is.

@@MeatUrMakerZ Yes I agree, but there is no reason otherwise. It can be an exceedingly difficult fight if you aren't prepared for it.
The only reason you'd take that path is for the runes.

@@jnrliufau4714 Pft sorry please ignore that other comment, I thought this was a different thread. "Exploring for no reason" though, isn't that the purpose of an open world game like Elden Ring? A game where you just _know_ there will be little secrets for you to find?
Edit: By different thread, I mean I had made a comment on another video where someone asked _how_ you were meant to find gear such as the Black Knife set, Tree Guardian set, and Crucible Tree set. I responded with "just take the time to explore your surroundings".
Oh man, thank you so much! Rya teleported me there and I had forgotten to touch the grace inside but instead went out exploring immediately and fell off the mountain. Couldn't find my way back up for the life of me...
Who is this maiden Rya? I'm well past volcano manor and I think I never met her... First time I reached Atlat Plateau, I went through the ladders and fought the Wyvern, maybe that's why I never encountered her?

Yesterday I cleared the entire path from the Village up to Volcano Manor. THANKS. I love "lets explore this way for an hour and see what we find" it took MORE than an hour... but it was GREAT! TKXAGN

Thank you. I tried doing the raya lucaria way and then realised i have too low vigor to make the drop to get in. So now this way makes it a lot easier for me now so i can get there when i need.

I just recently got to the lift and WOW I did not realize I had so much map left to go... This map size is crazy
i somehow managed to get to the snow mountains before figuring out how to reach Mount Gilmor entirely. this has been super helpful lol, especially because i wanna go fight Rykard before dealing w Godfrey.

You don't the lift nor the cave
You can teleport from raya lucaria academy by going down the big lift. Then let the iron maiden at the bottom kill u by grabing u.
Patches will tell u this when u meet him outside the academy in the woods.
You can also talk to rya and have you teleport there inside the manor

Interesting tip if you do rya quest you can teleport to volcano manor so it’s easier to get there.
There is a side quest that takes you to the manor after helping a girl next to scenic isle she will be in the small tower after you unlock the lift she is at the entrance when you go up take her hand and she teleports you to the manor

You can also get here if you follow Rya's quest line. She will invite you to go to Volcano Manor.
Word of warning: It is NOT a safe area like Roundtable Hold. You can (and most likely will) be invaded.

if you hold down whatever key/button you use to dodge/sprint while on a ladder you will go up or down faster
Right as you pass demi human queen Maggie on your left before the bridge is a npc talking with him gives you the COMET AZUR spell

If u do the necklaces quest in the swamp the same npc takes u the volcano manor fast once u pass the golden seed in the beginning :47 great video but after grinding all day a little short cut give me time to catch a breather in this game love u videos tho boss helped a lot

Hey can you put map markers on your route? just riding around is the absolute worst kind of guide, it takes minimal effort to slap down some markers.
Following a path takes minimal brain power. Perfectly fine guide.
After you talk to Rya in Liurnia and get her necklace back for her. She will give you an invitation to the volcano manor. She will then be waiting for you at the top of the grand lift of dectus when you use the lift. She will ask you to take her hand and will transport you to the manor. Just fyi if you want to use that route.

This game is Massive. I made it to this part, but there is a path under this area, and I totally forgot about the entrance to the huge castle. I found myself in another huge area that I've never been to before. Lol. I frigging love this game. They know how to reward exploration.
