- A Walt Disney World opening day attraction based on the Disneyland original, It's a Small World, has entertained guests since its initial debut at the 1964 New York Worlds Fair. The second of its kind, Walt Disney Worlds It's a Small World, recently received an updated color scheme. Part of the park's preparations for the World's Most Magical Celebration, the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Let's take a ride on the fantasyland classic. I hate the fact that so many people despise this ride. Ok, it’s not the most exciting ride in the world, but it’s message is one that should be cherished, respected, and appreciated. We live in a hateful world, and this ride reminds us that everyone’s only human at the end of the day regardless of any conflict. I hope that I was able to make some of you respect this ride more, and I wish the best for everyone who reads this. 👍

This is my favorite ride, it means so much to me and I hate how people always say it’s creepy or boring. It has an important message and I think a lot more people need to here it! :)
It’s a crass, shallow, false message. Disney is about money. They don’t give a shit about the values they pretend to espouse. They ruined the classic fairy tales, they bastardized A.A.Milne’s and Phillip Barrie’s masterpieces. They are the DEVIL. They are a cynical, hateful company.

I find the really older, retro, nostalgic rides and the newest stuff to be the most interesting.
It's a small world 🌍 ride was a favorite of mine many years ago we took our children there. 4 years ago I went again. The song stays in your head! I wished I worked there!

The cultural visual in this ride is wonderful! I love that it goes from Europe to all the different continents out there and changes the instruments and lyrics to suit the culture. It’s a great message that the world should accept, not fight
Does anyone else get a wave of nostalgia from the Forrest scene? The huge open space, colors, and shapes make remember something that didn’t really happen.

I never understood why someone wouldn't like this ride. At the very least everytime I've been to magic kingdom, I'm soaked from the summer heat and am dieing to get inside and cool off.

I remember when I rode this the ride shut down like 5 times and we sat for 10 minutes each time hearing this song over and over again 😂😂
Thank you so much for this video. I worked at WDW 20 years (2000-2020), the second ride I learned was "it's a small world." The new paint job in the queue is very good (It really needed it. The white and gold colors were nice when it was new in 2006, but the sparkle soon faded.). The ride itself looks great. Only 2 animatronics on vacation. BUT... the happiest surprise was that Disney restored the FULL music loop in the queue/load/unload area!

I've never been on this ride and I was surprised just how to find out how long and complex it is. Not a criticism, just a genuine surprise for me. I'm glad it's still around and popular.
No one rude or mean can work for Disney world or Disney Land. Patient and good manors towards all matters it refects on you how you behave. No Rude customers allowed respect all people never discriminate

"This is scary", "This is F'ING Terrifying", "Everyone was scared sh**less by this", "No!!! I was scared of this 😭", "I've cried out of fear on this and wanted to cry again", "Scariest ride there 😨", "The Epic Mickey clock is how everyone sees the ride" "This is like a nightmare" may I go on..?
It got to the point where i've lost all hope in humanity and their shit,,.. There's really no need to overreact over this innocent slow moving boat brought to you by Walt Disney. He didn't mean to make it nightmare fuel to you crybabies lmao.. It's a fantastic creation!
How is this AMAZING ride getting hate when there are MUCH more things to hate lmao,, also hating something because you think it's "creepy" is so freaking SOFT. And it's not even creepy unless, like I said, you're soft.
Seriously,, y'all should see therapy or something because OUT OF EVERY DARK RIDE this has the most tame or least scary stuff I've ever seen in my LIFE. It's one of the most tamest attractions, yet you overreact over it anyway! We cannot ever have nice things.., here's "exhibit B" on why everyone is the way they are today.
I'd sorta understand if the only thing you guys remember from the ride is being stuck on it and the lights went out while also being scared of dolls,, but it seems like literally anyone who's terrified of this innocent attraction only hate it for that exact moment. Like they can't just ride it again and try it a second time. They worry about THAT. They can't relax and have a good time like how I'd imagine it SHOULD go.
Nonetheless you all should grow up! Seriously I can imagine A BABY, LITTLE KID, OR TODDLER being afraid on it because they're scared of everything, but if you're a teenager or adult that's so freaking sad to me honestly..

I’ve only ever been on the Disneyland Small World, and I consider it to be one of the best and most pleasant queue lines. The queue line for this one upsets me. I just don’t like that it’s indoors.
Helps for that daily Florida rain shower.

@@eringray1160 there are extended queues outdoors, even small world queue is outside when it’s long. Most have some sun/rain protection…. TeaCups and Tomorrowland Speedway are the 2 that come to mind all outside, any others??

I don't get why people hate this song! It's not that bad! I like it! I even play it on the piano! To be honest this song is very nostalgic to me, as I remember going on this ride when I was 10 years old, back in 2013! I actually enjoyed it! Very relaxing ride! And a lot of cool stuff to it, I mean it's a nice ride! I mean if you hate this song, I respect that!

I wish I could say it’s on the way. For now, it’s what makes It’s a small world at Disneyland special…. That and the holiday overlay. Not coming to Walt Disney world anytime soon, but it would be a great addition.

Funny enough, the gold is the stuff that’s not new. The gold has been there since the opening of Walt Disney’s IASM in wdw. The colorful pastels are what make it new. The 50th anniversary has all pastel themes,(I know cause I’m at Disney rn).

I normally don't like to dwell on which park has the better attraction. Usually It's a small difference.(ha) but I don't get why WDW's Small world sets are so less elaborate or even as tall as Disneyland's. It looks as if there's enough ceiling space. It's just flats with paint and glitter. Not Pandora. So much black background.

The clock tower does indeed work, with a chime every 15 minutes. Not nearly as elaborate as the Disneyland original, but it’s something.

So I searched up it’s a small world Disney at dark cause the book was amazing to see if there really was some letters on the myan sun when you put on the movie theater glasses and what do I find other than creepy broken dolls? Nothing I love the book and this ride but I also know fnaf so yeah… kinda creepy
