Manufacturing a Hammer: Tool making at its finest - HAMMER TIME

Have you ever seen a hammer being manufactured? It was something I certainly hadn't but I'm glad I took a morning in Glossop filming Joe and Adrian from Kinetic Customs doing what they do best, MAKING HAMMERS! And by heck they are cracking metalworkers, its tool making at its finest.
This video is definitely hammer time. The video shows from start to finish of how Joe and Adrian make their twisted cross peen hammer. From creating the twist in the metal to water quenching and all the way through to the final polish, it's all here. Adrian and Joe make a full a range of different hand tools from finishing hammers to demolition hammers through to centre punches, they really make a vast range of wicked tools. Next time I visit, hopefully they'll make a union jack cross peen hammer, if you I'll share it to you all. To give you all a little bit of background, Adrian and Joe are also Metal fabricators. They take on all kinds of cracking metalwork fabrication projects but they have recently started focusing on their hammers and I think it's a cracking choice.
