It's not bordering on it. It is IT! There is no lie too big. No amount of doubling down is too much. Gaslighting, projectionism, and endless deflection are the default. Playing the victim as they destroy is as second nature as breathing.
It absolutely is regressive. It has to be as dumbing down the population allows progressive ideas to gain traction on the promise of easy times , and no worries if you just "open your mind " without any insight. That's Modern Liberalism incremental societal decay and here we are.
And the Blue Globalist controlled opposition is NOT going to fix it. The only way we can even BEGIN to fix this is by electing Maxime Bernier as Prime Minister and the People’s Party of Canada to a majority government. They’re the ONLY ONES who are ANTI-GLOBALIST and PRO-CANADA.

One of the biggest problems we face as a nation is that we have allowed in millions of non-Canadians and insist on treating them as if they are just as Canadian as the rest of us who are born and raised here. That’s fundamentally what it comes down to. The portion of the population who are paper Canadians(Canadian in name only) is only increasing, and the portion of actual Canadians who are willing to stand up for themselves and their country seems to be only getting smaller.
The really sad party is that Canada has to immigrate people into the country to sustain it. The country is literally functioning only on taxes as a source of its income and people are leaving as fast as they can or are not having enough children to keep the economy stable.
Actually when Harper left Canada was almost on par with the US. It's steadily gotten worse since. You are right about PP. He has one hell of a mess to clean up and there will be prosecutions that will hopefully recover some of our pilfered tax money!
When Harper was in charge there was mass immigration. There has been since Mulroney. The Blue Globalist controlled opposition is no better and no different to the rest of the Uniparty. Wake the fuck up.
Vote for PP to continue mass immigration and give the millions of foreigners who don’t belong here citizenship. “Build more homes” is not the answer to mass third world immigration. CLOSING THE BORDER AND DEPORTING THE 10-15 MILLION PEOPLE WHO SHOULDN’T BE HERE is how you MAKE CANADA CANADIAN AGAIN.
Yes it was, electing the current Priminister was. Three times voted in by who? Canadians ! 😮 We share the blame, but will shoulder all the debt. As my children and grandchildren will.
Pierre is honestly the only hope right now for Canada. The crime here is WILD! There is no accountability process for criminals or the corruption that is rampant through every municipality to federal government. Thanks for covering this!
I’d take my chances on a Moose running this country before I’d vote this Beaver brain Prime Minister damn up the economy with overspending while flooding the streets with crime. You must be getting your news from CBC, over 70% funded by the federal government and CEOs determined directly from Liberal MPs.
This is such an enlightening conversation although it is disturbing and upsetting how bad Canada seems to getting with our political situation. Something needs to change before things get worse.
I agree so much with you guys generally. I have so many ideas to help but don’t know how to bring them up and to whom. Wish there was a platform where I could share or act upon somehow. Anyways, keep doing the good job.
Legal immigrant of 20yrs. I have seen Canada go from a great country to really struggling on every dimension. Not just housing, cost of living, healthcare etc. it's the culture, people are not the same, they are tired, anxious and seem to have lost the identity they once had.
I’m born and raised in Newfoundland Canada 🇨🇦 and I will be completely honest, I don’t see ppl by colour or ethnicity (besides the ppl who automatically stand out but I still wouldn’t be able to say where they came from or ethnic). Only time I ever seen different races was when seeing medical doctors/ specialists. Mainly only seen other races during traveling into cities. Idc what culture, religion, race, gender, ethnicity etc others are or come from as long as we look out for each other, help and be kind towards others, live by morals and values along with integrity. That’s the Canada 🇨🇦 I want back and I just turned 49. I don’t recognize Canada in recent years nor have I ever seen such a huge amount of people struggling and suffering, financially insecure and mentally unwell due to the impact from it all.
As someone from BC. It sickens me that the flight from Vancouver to Prince George is the same distance or flight time to go from London to Paris. We have a fraction of the population but yet our housing is out of control. Over $1.2 million per house
Couldn't agree more. I live in PG and we are absolutely hosed by the cost of the flights to Vancouver and Calgary. My friends in Vancouver could fly to Paris for less unless they can find a good deal and book it months in advance. Completely ridiculous.
Part of the problem is that the people who are working in Canada Immigration et al are for the most part UNQUALIFIED - so not only do we have an incompetent, corrupt government that doesn't care about Canada, or Canadians or what happens to either, they only care about themselves, but we have a public sector that is completely bloated with unqualified, unmotivated people who cannot or will not do anything beyond the bare minimum. At one time in my life I was in a position where I was prepared and willing to give my life for this country, but no more, and there's no going back to that either. I am overwhelmed with pessimism and want few things more than to get out of this miserable country. Damn Trudeau to hell for what he has done to us!

Tax is theft and so there shouldn't be any, but if there is to be an income tax then it should be a flat tax, with a cap, and there should be not such thing as "general revenue" in government spending.
Overtime pay goes straight to taxes. You don't realize until tax time shock. There is no point to pushing your body beyond limits only for government to take it. Mr. Glavin is totally correct!! He nails it right on the head. As an American, it was alarming to hear the portion about the wealthiest in Ontario being on par with Alabama/Mississippi working class or poor. That's not a good development.

Hi Lovey.. I'm a proud Canadian living stateside in California since 03 (legally and became a citizen in June 2024). We've been under the same fascist Marxist tyranny as Canada. Me being in California the governor Gavin newsome is the identical to Trudeau. I used to live in the silicon bay area and I owned a lucrative business until 2015. I was under my ex husband's insurance through his county employer. It was doable with paying co-pays. Most insurance you pay by month and STILL have to pay a co-pay.. $5,$20,$+. I'm now incapacitated bc of a 9 month coma in '17 and then radiation therapy for cancer '18/'19 & headed into major spine surgery to have rods, screws and cement correcting the severe curve I've acquired. This puts me squarely at the mercy of the government now at the age of 62😠 No attempt at avoiding this has prevailed. I would gladly opt to cover my own cost of living, including health insurance but here we are. I am totally covered for physicians, hospital, ambulance, mental health, prescriptions, transportation to and from medical visits, et al. I have applied for and waiting for disability coverage. I had a friend who had disability and was a pensioner. This Obama care health coverage is nothing but a rues ! Her & her husband were living on extremely low income and yet, somehow, still were billed an extra $900. a month! I became friends with some nurses along the way (go figger eh😂) and they were paying upwards of $500. a month😠.. Plus copay. Big pharma rules the roost here in the states. I'm not clear on this but I believe that it's mandatory to have health insurance although many are deciding not to get it and pay the full amount as needed. This, of course, wouldn't be a viable choice for me. Now that Trump is taking charge he's not going to be under the thumb of these insurance company lobbyists. RFK. Jr is going to dismantle the fraudulent business dealings in insurance companies and big pharma. I've gone to the hospital emergency room and sat along the wall along with everyone else there waiting. They line you up along the walls having run out of seats in the waiting room. You sometimes have to sit there for a day before being admitted to a bed. Being seen by a Dr can take a month AND to have any procedure done or specialist seen you must have to first wait for an approval letter from the insurance company😠That's a week or two. Back in Canada I had no issues with wait times although everyone I know has claimed this to be so. The cost of living is so high in Canada that adding insurance to it would devestate you all. I'm hoping Trump will find a solution. I guess to sum it all up I'd say you pay for insurance through all the taxation. Would you rather it once a month or enveloped in cost of living? Also.. Many go to Mexico for prescription medications and/or medical care/procedures, et al. For the average Joe here insurance and medication is extremely expensive. If Pierre can take notes from trump and the dream team he'll get Canada back on track and the powers that be here are greatly concerned for Canada and although there's kibitzing (spelling?) going on from here, trump mostly, it's really just directed at Trudeau. The powers that be like Elon, Joe Rogan, Charlie kirk, tucker carlson have taken a great interest in protecting Canada and Canadians, Canadiens. We couldn't or wouldn't protect ourselves the last few years and are now empowered and plan to use it with every cell of every body of every american patriot. We need to take out the trash, as you do. Canada has been prey to the radical Islam Trojan horses. Of all the bloody problems to have this, imho, is the top of the food chain. You WILL NOT have a country left if and until they are all removed. All of them. Here we're past racism, past wrongful prejudism. Look at UK.. Great talk Jordan. Just one small point ... the PC Party in 1993 was reduced to TWO seats, not 3. The were the first political party in Canada to have 50% male MPs and 50% female MPs - Jean Charest in Quebec and Elsie Wane in NS. This held true until the last election when the Greens elected one male and female. But the PC party got there first (much like, despite Labour Party's calls for "Woman Power" in the UK, it has been the Conservatives that have had not 1, not 2 but THREE Prime Ministers, and a fourth one now leading the Party. Labour's had none.) And it wasn't only Reform that decimated the PC Party but also the Blox Quebecois, who's leader was Lucien Bouchard, a former Mulroney Cabinet member.

I think the quip about the Reform party was incorrect. The Reform party didn't reduce the Conservatives to three seats, the Conservatives abandoning their base convinced their base to change allegiances. If O'Toole had successfully replaced Trudeau in the last election, and then proceeded to turn the Conservatives into the Liberal-lite party like he was angling to do, then I would have expected the PPC to make big gains, similar to how Farage is making big gains in the UK or how the Reform party did back in the day. The only reason the Conservatives are making out like bandits in the polls right now is because Poilievre is finally speaking to the concerns of the Conservative and even centrist voter bases. The only people getting representation from both the Liberals and NDP are the leftist radicals. Nobody in the center or especially on the right had a voice outside of the PPC when O'Toole was in charge of the Conservatives, so now people have at least a voice for their perspectives on important issues, and unlike the PPC, Poilievre's Conservatives can actually win the next election. Does Poilievre fully comprehend those problems? Will he be brave in the face of the organized and well-funded backlash that's gearing up to head his way? Only time will tell, but at least it's almost a certain improvement (and there's a chance for the improvement to be dramatic) while nothing but disaster looms if either the Liberals or NDP get to continue running things.

Australia is exactly the same. Coincidence, I think not.
The really sad party is that Canada has to immigrate people into the country to sustain it. The country is literally functioning only on taxes as a source of its income and people are leaving as fast as they can or are not having enough children to keep the economy stable.

Not just housing, cost of living, healthcare etc. it's the culture, people are not the same, they are tired, anxious and seem to have lost the identity they once had.
Same here. It’s hard to recognize this Country.
Being accused of fake genocide in a massive government/media gaslighting campaign will do that to a nation.
I’m born and raised in Newfoundland Canada 🇨🇦 and I will be completely honest, I don’t see ppl by colour or ethnicity (besides the ppl who automatically stand out but I still wouldn’t be able to say where they came from or ethnic). Couldn't agree more. I live in PG and we are absolutely hosed by the cost of the flights to Vancouver and Calgary. My friends in Vancouver could fly to Paris for less unless they can find a good deal and book it months in advance. Completely ridiculous.
When Poilievre gets into power, he will make sure that Prince George is right next to Vancouver, where it belongs!
But how many more thousands want to go to Paris vs PG? Prices are based on demand.

100% I don't see it happening, but I do agree.
Pierre can't fix this.
I hope you’re wrong, but you may not be…
When you find yourself in a deep hole, the first step is to stop digging. PP will at least do that.
@ you don’t know that. The CPC are the liberals from the early 2000s, or even just 10 years ago.
Canada needs a Donald, not a Bernie
I'm completely fine with a Bernie. Give Bernie a chance.
Oh really,. Canada needs someone who lied about his entire campaign? because it came out that he actually straight up lied and plans to cause more wars and inflation and put other countries first.
This will take decades to fix
Not really. If Alberta separates tomorrow (or joins the U.S.) then problem solved.
