Gives me comfort knowing that there are a lot of artists out there that also think of digital programs as traditional media but without the fuss of the paints, pencils, or whatever... Just seeing how you use the digital program is a lot like how I do, I thought I was missing something in my productivity flow or not utilizing my digital program to its fullest potential. But your work helped me realize that I am comfortable in my own process and skin, because I'm not alone :)
I draw as similarly as I can on digital vs traditional because I find a lot of digital specific processes totally distance me from the art, I like to be as involved and manual as I can. Digital art seems to have a mysteriously pre-established set of rules that everyone seems eager to follow which I don’t understand in the slightest I get where you’re coming from. Glad you see something here for you
so happy to see another masterpiece from you!!! your workflow is captivating and just perfectly chaotic as always!!! dont forget about not posting much, what's more important is you getting enough inspiration and rest yk, forcing this stuff wont lead to anything good... especially wont lead to such incredible works of yours!!!!
I love your artstyle so much, it feels very free and "artsy" for me, which are things im trying to improve on my artistic process so, thank you for inspiring me
@@Bloobydabloob Try searching for his name. He's a legend that has been an inspiration for many artists. Many masters today still learn from his art. Your style and strokes looks similar to JC Leyendecker's, that's why he keeps being mentioned.
For some reason the thoghts that came to my mind watching this, is that everything good and awesome is not perfect it started looking maybe strange or a little weird and by combining all of those imperfections and things you are unsure and trusting the process, you have achieved “perfection”
such a cool angle and pose I still struggle with perspective and how this would align incongruent with the body but drawing from photos and life is really helping me…for some reason I find studying anatomy really boring but I need to do that eventually….awesome lighting too…I always have an idea of where it’s coming from too but I shade in stuff that makes no sense…the sun, two lights, it’s difficult placing them in a interesting way sometimes but you did it really well
Absolutely don’t worry yourself about studying do it if you think it will benefit you but I hate it too. Never studied anything in my life and I don’t plan on it, you can choose to study the skillful guesswork instead I say. Thank you
@ awesome thank you….what you lack in study you more than make up for it in style. I also agree guesswork takes you much farther and is way more rewarding….what I do is get photos from Pinterest and draw the clothes and pose onto my favorite character….i just see where the hand and the shoulders connect for example or physically I try to see it on myself and how it would work and look…. I’ve gotten better with proportions but not perspective. Also drawing just from photos makes me feeling like I’m copying. It doesn’t feel original so any advice on creating original dynamic posing? Usually I know you still need to take bits and pieces from photos but I don’t want to straight up steal the pose anymore
@@InBadPolariI’d like to say yes but not purposefully, I never really got studying art or anything I’ve never set out anatomy practices or clothing studies more than a couple times in my life. I just learned by doing pieces like this one and obviously you pick up on what looks wrong and right over time. I still mess it up though lol I mean there’s an entire section I forgot to even film here where I struggle with the facial proportions for like 25 minutes. A lot of my art looks off when I first post it and I just have to wait like 24 hours to come back in fresh faced and see what’s wrong
AMAZING ! your work is always so inspiring, every since i discoreved your channel i got myself coming back and back to your videos and there's always something new that I learn from your process... Thank you for uploading, you are always appreciated 💛
Don’t buy into art resources but if I were to say something important about color it’s that value matters a lot more than the colors themselves. Also transitional colors & minor hue variation within blocking can be very important things to know how to achieve effectively
I had refreshed my front page when I had just seen this video's title but not your name as uploader, I am very glad I managed to find it again regardless. Loved the color work you did here!
I’ve come upon your videos before and the art is genuinely so inspiring and beautiful. It makes me want to expiriment with texture and lines until I can’t draw anymore. thank you so much for this wonderful amazing piece bro
Your art is so good 😳 are you self taught?? It really doesn’t matter whether you are but I just think it’s both inspiring whether you’ve taught yourself how to draw or have taught yourself through other ways
This one is imagination except for hand which I referenced on my own if that counts for anything. I don’t shy away from using help via references if I need them though
judging from how the ui looks, it seems to be firealpaca! its a really good program ( at least for me ) and has a lot of different brushes that the community shares i havent visited it in 3 years but its a nice and easy art program to use!
I was just wondering, how did you learn to draw digitally like this? Like.. what methods did you practise? Did you learn to paint first, and then move to digital art?
do whichever is more accessible/seems more fun to you. the best (and only) way to build drawing skill is by drawing. also, use references whenever you can!
I’ve never really been a traditional painter it takes up way way too much time unfortunately. I’ve always worked digitally and I don’t think there’s really anything I practiced, habits and techniques just kind of emerge the more I streamline my process as time passes. There’s very little difference to me with digital and traditional regardless though I think my art looks pretty much the same made on paper or computer. There are differences but learning to paint on computer is the same as learning with oil or something to me. Same skill no difference there. The two don’t develop any differently unless you’re gearing yourself toward that instead of just treating digital as a way to do traditional without materials
I apologise for the forbidden mistake I've committed of going near a coloured pencil, won't happen again milord🙏(You have no idea how much I love it, is so gorges I cant-)

How did you get so good at anatomy?
Well for hands like in this one I just look at my own. It’s a blessing that we have two hands (one for drawing one for looking at while drawing)
@@Bloobydabloobwhat about for faces and bodies? Did you look at a lot of references and practiced a lot?
